These razor blades are decent, but are not that big of a change compared to Gillettes other offerings honestly. Id say the cooling effect is okay, and if anything helps the lubricant part of the blade last longer compared to the standard design. The cooling effect you can feel for the first handful of shaves, especially when showering right after. As for longevity they seem to last as long as the standard blades, which for me is about 15-18 shaves before they start pulling on my stubble.

These blades are just what my husband wanted. They glide smoothly on his face and do not scrape his face. Each blade lasts him about 1 month. He uses them 2-3 times a week. He is 64 so his whiskers are very bristley. My son also uses them and he is 33 so each blade lasts him much much longer. He really likes them also.
