Greater than one weekReceived the blades as a free demo from Gillette. I had long thought that non disposable razors were over priced for the same shave. Well now I can admit I was wrong. These blades give me the closest shave ever. I had to shave daily for my public sector job. I cant seem to wear them out. Great job Gillette!

> 3 dayI love these razors! I ordered them on a subscription to keep the cost down, even though each one is good for up to a month (I have a light beard and often dont shave if Im not going out of the house that day).

> 3 dayI have used other razors before including the orange fusion razor that came before this and I can honestly say this is the best razor I have ever used. Not only does it get the closest out of any razor I have ever used but it also felt like I wasnt even shaving. Disclosure: I am a Bzzagent and got a free razor to try from Gillette.

Greater than one weekIve been using razors for 25 years now, and Ive tried a pretty good range of razors, from fancy razors down to the cheapo $1 razors. For the past 6 years Ive been using mainly the Gillette Custom Plus razor, and have been satisfied with it. Its the no frills razor that my wife uses, and I have been going along for the ride. She buys the large 52 pack, making each razor about $0.65 - $0.75 each. I used those razors until the blue lubrication strip falls off, which turns out to be a few weeks. This was all about economy, and very little about the quality of the shave. Still, I was satisfied just the same. I had the opportunity to learn about a Gillette program to evaluate their new razor. They sent me the Fusion ProGlide Power for a free evaluation, and was predictably skeptical. I really believed that there wouldnt be any significant difference in the shave quality or the experience. All razors are more or less the same, right? I was wrong. They sent me the Fusion ProGlide Power, and I popped in the included battery. At first I was a little hesitant about my razor actually vibrating on my face. I mean, I usually use gentle straight strokes, and dont wiggle the blade or anything. I put it in the shower (I dont use a mirror, I feel around for the stubble. Thats just my style.) and gave it a try. I had to laugh when I took the first stroke. It is SOO much better than the razors I had become accustomed to using. Its immediately smooth, solid in the hand, and effective. I could actually feel that my face felt different. I was totally stunned. I had thought the 5 thin blades were mostly marketing at work, but its pretty obvious now that Gillette has really tried to make the most effective tool for the job. One thing I noticed right away was that nothing was rattling or shaking around. There are no loose parts, its just a very solid feeling in the hand, like youre using a very well crafted tool. I think this has to do with the wide flat design of the cartridge blade. It seems that if it were thin, like my usual razors, it would jiggle around more. This razor is truly excellent, so why havent I been using a razor like this for the last ten years? Mainly the perception that its expensive. This razor isnt particularly expensive, but the cartridges are, at least comparatively. Each cartridge is about five times the price of my usual economy blades. Im not entirely sure how long they last, but even if they lasted twice as long, they would still be almost three times the price. But the reality is that the cost is minimal. Its probably less than $2 a week for an awesome shaving experience. (a $4 cartridge that lasts 2-3 weeks) I pay more for chewing gum, and dont enjoy it half as much. I hope this review helps you out.

Greater than one weekVery much recommend these blades...I feel less drag when cutting the hairs with little to no irritation on my sensitive skin. Long lasting blades that cut incredibly close! I usually shave every two or three days and cant remember the last time I changed them. My first razors were provided on a program by Gillette, however I would have no hesitation purchasing myself when these blades need changing.
