Gillette Venus Sensitive Disposable Razors for Women with Sensitive Skin, Delivers Close Shave with Comfort, 6 Count (Pack of 1)

The blades are sharp and it is way too easy to accidently cut myself while shaving. I bought these thinking they would be nicer than a basic disposable razor. They are not. I would not buy them again. I would suggest buying the Venus replacement blades instead.

Works well for my sensitive skin

I received a free 3 pack of these razors to try from Gillette. First, I love the packaging. I hate when I step in the shower, realize I need a new razor and then cant get the package open without having to step out, find a pair of sissors and cut my way through. Even with wet fingers this was easy peasy, peel and go! Now, on to the actual razor. I dont consider myself as having sensitive skin, I dont even use shaving gel when I shave so I expected to be wowed by the feeling of these razors.The package says these have extra glide and there looks to be some pretty significant cushioning happening above and below the blades. Well...I was not impressed. The feeling of the rubber cushions dragging across my skin was super irritating and I never felt any glide. I cant imagine someone with actual sensitive skin using this razor. However, the results were still good and my legs were smooth and I didnt have to go over any spots more than once. This razor gets the job done, I will just be using shaving gel with them from now on. I will continue to use what I have with shaving gel, but have found I prefer other razors with more built in lubricant than these have.

Gillette Venus is my go to razor for shaving. I love my regular Venus razor, but I got tired of always having to remember to grab it out of the shower to put in my toiletry bag. After forgetting to take in one a few trips, I thought these disposable razors would be a good idea. I now keep one of these in my toiletry bag at all times, so Im ready to go and I dont have to worry about packing my razor anymore. These razors are a little bit smaller than my normal razor which makes them a little easier to fit in my bag which is always stuffed full. I also love that these have a little plastic cover over the blades. This is perfect for traveling and keeping the razor from snagging on your bag, which dulls the blade and can rip your luggage. As far as quality goes, this is a top notch Venus razor as always. I prefer my five-blade razor at home, but for on the go, these three-blade razors do the job just fine. On a week long vacation, I can use this razor the whole time. I shave each and every day because I dont like stubbly itchy legs and apparently I have the worlds fastest growing hair. So, I usually plan on getting six to seven shaves out of each of these razors before they get too dull to be useful. We dont often take week long trips... we usually just go away for a weekend, so I can often make one of these razors lasts over the course of three or four short getaways. The handle on this is very comfortable and has a lot of grip so that you dont drop it in the shower. Im really pleased with these razors and Id recommend them for any fellow lady-travelers! These were so easy for my daughters to use. No problems teaching them to shAve without cutting themselves. I did receive thsee free from Gillette also!
