I don’t think I’ve ever given a negative review for anything but these razors are awful. I’ve been using the same razor for way too long and I finally bought a replacement pack and omg I would have rather used a year old blade rather than these. I can’t return it so I thought I’d at least write a negative review

I, too, was startled to get refills that looked different from the ones I already had, with a metal bar on each side of the blades. At first I thought they were counterfeit or something, but it turns out its just a redesign; the ones you get in stores look like this now, too. I do find that they shave less well -- its like the metal staples holding the blades make them more recessed than they were before, so its harder to get a good close shave without irritating the skin. I cut myself more with these than I used to. But Ive adapted to them now, and I get decent results.

Very obviously not actual Gillette products. Low quality, cheap packaging. I ended up switching to the Amazon brand instead of rolling the dice on these again.

These razor heads are perfect for a quick shave! They are a good value for my super sensitive skin.

These blades are inexpensive which drew me in! They are TINY! They work, but I prefer a larger blade! Will not purchase again!

Fine product, but the shipping was 0/10. Horrible packaging, it was almost comical. Almost.

I received a Gillette Venus Razor as a free sample and was quite pleased with the product. It has a nice grip and the head bends with the contours of your leg, resulting in the close and clean shave in one stroke as promised on the packaging. The razor comes with three blades and a handy blue strip that fades when it comes time to snap on an easily-changeable refill. The only negative thing I have to say is that I did experience some burn and cuts following my initial shave, which I think may be due to my own personal skin issues. I previously used a cheap disposable razor with only two blades and didnt have a problem because the shave wasnt as close. If you have any bites or uneven skin I recommend proceeding with caution because this razor is not playing around in the quest to give you smooth skin! It also gave me perhaps the best underarm shave Ive ever had. When my free refills run out I think Im going to have to become a paying customer.

The price point on these was excellent when I purchased them but I didn’t realize they don’t come with the shave strip. You don’t recognize how helpful that strip is until you don’t have it. I’ve cut myself more with these blades than the other shave strip-included blades, but that may be because I don’t use shave gel. If the cost is what you’re looking for these work just be careful of the blade.
