Great trunk hold everything I want it too and looks a little more modern than the offerings from BMW

I bought this case and saved $$$. When ordering this case from Givi or other suppliers you may also have to buy the trim and top cover pieces separately - adding 100s of dollars to the overall cost. This top case came with both pieces already installed. The cases polypropylene shell has a matte textured finish and matching upper trim piece while the inlaid cover panel has a carbon fiber pattern and a glossy gray Givi logo insert. NOTE: Kawasakis KQR 47 series has an identical general appearance and is more than likely made by Givi but has some structural differences as well as different color options. The KQR One Key system is incompatible with Givis Monokey system on newer Kawasaki motorcycles (2015 and up). The KQR Mounting Rack is also different. The earlier KR racks are identical to Givis mounts, but are also incompatible to the new KQR series. Minor differences in the contour of KQR trim and cover panels also make these parts incompatible to Givi Cases.

Worked seamlessly with the mount I purchased. Holds my work bag as desired. No rattling from the trunk or mount.

Secure! Adds a definite level of comfort for a passenger when adding a backrest too (sold separately). Looks kinda big but super worth it! I can fit mine and my wife’s full face helmets inside.

Fits perfect! Gives the bike a nice look and offers plenty of additional space for storage

Great top case

I really like this box. It has room for my full face helmet, jacket and gloves with room to spare. Be prepared for spouse requests for groceries when you leave the house alone with it mounted to your bike. I would not tour without it.

While I love Givi cases, two design flaws remain annoying. One, the keys have plastic tabs on them that break over time. Thats what led me to replace the first case with this new, more recent model. I noticed that the newer model also includes an all-metal key. Awesome. But then I discovered that the hinges on this model are plastic. Within days, the right hinge snapped. Come on. Who puts plastic hinges on a motorcycle case?? It was promptly returned. Amazon, as always, was great about the return. Im going to order the larger case to replace the one i just sent back.. Im hoping the larger, 54 liter model sports metal hinges.

My bike was used and came with a Givi Monokey mount already but it took me 3 years to buy a Givi top box. I wish I would have done it years ago. It is so convenient to just unlock it and throw whatever it. Installation was super simple and it is so easy to remove it when needed. Highly recommended this to anyone considering it.
