Gravity Falls: The Complete Series - Collectors Edition [DVD]

This is seriously worth every penny. Its an incredible show, good for all ages. This set comes with some great bonus features, including commentary on EVERY episode, which is what I was most excited about. I definitely recommend this show to everyone, and I definitely recommend this set to everyone, whether youve seen the show already or are just getting started!

The box set is great lots of great extra content (special features, commentaries, ect.) But I was under the impression that the box set would include the See you next summer note that Dipper recieves at the end of the series. I saw pictures of it online. However thats only if you buy it from Shout Facotorys direct site. I just think its important to note that if thats something you are looking for. But overall a great set!

This is an amazing series! Loved watching it over and over again. The thought and time put into this is amazing! And the conspiracys and adventure, Alex is truly and amazing man! The only thing Im kinda sad about is that i saw that the to diper letter was suppose to come with this, but when i bought it i couldnt find it anywhere. Its possible my family could have lost it but idk. Other then that fully satisfied :)

Unfortunately, the boxes that the series comes in is the worst. I dropped it just from a few inches in the air and parts of it broke off. Very shoddy construction. However, if you love gravity falls, then its worth getting it, just be careful handling boxes.

After the pile of positive reviews, not much to add about the show, which has that rare Harry Potter like ability to appeal to people of all ages with mystery, humor, and sincerity. But if you (like me) have already bought the show digitally, you might be considering whether its worth double dipping for the DVDs. Well, the description is not exaggerating: you get commentary on EVERY SINGLE EPISODE by Alex Hirsch, along with a rotating selection of artists, writers, voice actors, and others. He speaks candidly and extensively about the creative process. (Note: spoilers abound, so dont listen until you finish the series.) Kids looking for fun commentary might be disappointed, but older would-be writers and artists will get a ton out of it. The extras archive and document outside the show stuff like a scavenger hunt Hirsch cooked up and web-based cartoon shorts. Hirsch also talks about easter eggs, digs through ephemera, talks about fan mail... the amount of time he poured into this is well beyond what he needed to do. (But, its clear that he always went above and beyond for the show.) So, yes, if youre considering buying this for the extras: you definitely get your moneys worth. My sole complaint is that the packaging, while nice, doesnt quite rise to the level of love poured into the content. But its a small nit to pick.

It’s for my kids. Sorta. Thankfully they love this show because I actually WANT to watch it over and over unlike some of the other stuff these children are in to.

Its amazing.

I love this series. It’s so fun and mysterious and cute! It’s good for most ages!
