Greater than one weekIm am so Excited to get this set in July because I miss Gravity Falls so much and I also love to see the Bonus and Extras coming in the Blu-Ray/DVD box sets. The Bonuses I want is Dipper and Mabel Pines doing cute Commentaries of their adventures along with Stan and Ford Pines doing the silly commentaries along with them, Bonus Documentaries of Alex Hirsh and crew doing the making of Episodes and such, Cast and Crew Commentaries on all 40 episodes from seasons 1 and 2, Bill Cipher clues, Fords Journals in Digital form, and lots and lots of fun cute extras and more. I also want the packaging to be awesome and hope the cases are great for the Blu-ray/DVDs as well as more Bonus content. I already preorder it and will hopefully get it this July on the 24th the same day as the graphic novel Gravity Falls Lost legends which takes place during season 2 of the show. This show is Amazing and Im grateful to be back in Gravity Falls. - Teddy Furstman

> 3 dayFirst off, if you havent watched Gravity Falls, youre missing out. I show this show to everyone I know and it has changed my life so much! The elements of mystery blended with the crazy antics of one summer make for an absolute joyride. The voice cast is impeccable, the animation is exquisite, sns the story has been given SO much thought and is complete from beginning to end. Seriously. Ive never seen this much love and care go into a show -so many secrets to discover and so much to unpack, both literally and figuratively. The show ended years ago, and the sheer scope of it continues to blow my mind. A lot of love and care went into this box set. The series comes on two discs with a third for special features (3 discs, 3 journals, I see what you did ;) ). Gravity Falls is an easily digestible 40 episode series with a definitive open and close. Its easy to get sucked into the plot and mystery for hours! I have fond memories of my brother and I being dedicated to this show. It was the one thing we watched together! The set is worth the price just for the special features alone. I bought the DVD set, and in an age where DVDs are becoming more outdated to move content to a digital platform, and special features on DVDs are scarce for that reason, this is a breath of fresh air. Every aspect of the show, from voice talent to writing an episode to musical score, is explained in the featurette One Crazy Summer. You also ger a lot of background on Alex and Ariel, the twins whom Dipper and Mabel are based on. Additionally, deleted scenes, every promo and trailer run on Disney XD, and all the shorts are included on disc 3. I particularly enjoyed Alex explaining the Cipher Hunt he did after the show was over (remember how CRAZY that was? Oh my god). Theres SO much stuff, Ive barely gotten through all of it. I havent even touched on the episode commentaries, which are provided for EVERY EPISODE. SERIOUSLY. I still have so much to go. Although Ive seen the series already and just havent gotten to the commentary, I want to add that yeah, definitely wait for commentary until youve watched the whole thing. I am seriously impressed by the magnitude of box set. Alex Hirsch is a bit of a crazy guy, but he really cares about this show and its legacy and that shines through every bit here. Worth the money for the stuff you get! If you want to get the full Gravity Falls experience, buy this set!

Greater than one weekNeed cheering up? Need something to make you laugh? Need something that makes you think and has you question the meaning of life, the universe, and reality itself? Then you need this Collectors Edition! I had heard about this series from the web and brought the first volume for my brother a few years ago. The family watched a few episodes and I found myself wanting to know more about it, watch more episodes, and listen to the commentaries. So in the end I bought the Collectors Edition. And I was so happy I did. I love the strange and weird mixed with humor and good characters. Funny enough I was never a big fan of the X-Files (the answer to everything was almost always aliens), never watched Twin Peaks, and never showed any interest in Lost after watching one episode. And as I had been told that Lost was just the television version of the Atlantis series by Greg Donegan I dont plan to. I did like Northern Exposure and was a huge fan of The Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Shea and Robert Abton Wilson so maybe that;s why I like Gravity Falls? But whatever the reason I LOVED Gravity Falls. This collection comes with commentary for each episode PLUS an extra DVD with interviews and deleted scenes and shorts and lots of Gravity Falls goodness. And a puppet. We are talking about hours upon hours of fun to enjoy again and again. I dont see myself getting bored with Gravity Falls. Any more than I could get bored of Xena or Jeeves and Wooster! Is it okay for kids? Well, I would say yes. While there is humor for adults much of the comedy is the events and the character interaction with each other and the events. So I would say it is pretty clean. I mean, this IS Disney. While they let them get with a lot they didnt let them go so far as to offend anybody. I think the best part is how each episode has a self-contained story and yet is part of the larger arch of event which guide us to the finally events of the second season. So they make more? Maybe. But I think they have a wonderful story here. A story about family and friendships and siblings. I know they have comics out and there is talk about a movie. And I am all for that. As long as they dont change THIS summer. Its perfect in every way.
