> 24 hourI absolutely love this game. The expansion is good and a lot of fun. I do think it would work better with 3-4 players, rather than 2, as some of the powers are slow to start. There are a couple of typos, but they arent major and the pieces are high quality.

> 24 hourIn my opinion this expansion is a must once you figure out the overall strategy for the core spirit island. After playing a while with the core it is a lot easier to win because you know what is going to happen next. This expansion brings much more excitement to the game with added randomness. The thing about these random event cards is that they arent enough to completely lose a game, but enough to have to change your strategy sometimes. I believe I read somewhere that this expansion was supposed to be part of the core, but greater than games just split up part of the game. This is a must buy for anyone who loves spirit island.

> 24 hourI support anything Spirit Island. Buy this if you want 2 new Spirits and more events/scenarios. The only downside is that one of the Spirits is by far the worst designed on out of all of them (including the promo Spirits). Just my opinion, I dont think Ill every play the Claw again. But love the direction it tried to go in. Hopefully they print more expansions!

> 24 hourAgain, Slirit Islabd is confusing. This expansion almost doubles the confusion. It adds a lot of complexity and components. Everything is well done though.

> 24 hourI wouldn’t even want to play the vanilla version of Spirit Island anymore. While the game is great as a stand-alone, this expansion adds the depth the original game was missing. First let’s start with the events: they add a degree of randomness to the game that makes it more replayable, and less of the same thing over and over again. Mostly they make the game more difficult, but that’s part of the fun.

> 24 hourAdds 2 new spirits as well as tokens for beasts, disease, wilds, and strife. Event deck throws chaos into your well laid plans. Great expansion if the base game ever gets stale!

> 24 hourThis Expansion for Spirit Island adds some nice diversity to the game, especially for those who have mastered the base game.
