Gridiron Gang UMD for PSP

I really enjoyed seeing the rock in a different role. He is hard on these guys but underneath the hard shell is a gentle giant. His character really cares about each of these young men and it really showed that even though he was playing a part he really meant it.

This movie has been on my wish list for sometime, waiting for the price to drop. I had to own it. It is a true story well told.

I played this for a classroom of seniors. Was weary of the violence in the beginning (shooting, deaths, gangs, etc) but if your students/kids can handle it, the story and moral is worth it in the end.

Good movie to watch in the privacy of my home. Too bad that this is real life today, but at times I do enjoy watching good movies and this is a good movie.

Great story

Dont mistaken this movie for another typical Dwayne The Rock Johnson action movies with such a simplistic plot that its too predictable. This movie is about a group of juveniles that are sent to a correctional facility to try to fix their lives. The Rock is assigned to put together a football team consisting of these juveniles and what the game teaches them is much more than just how to play the game. It teaches them self-discipline, self-respect, dignity, and unity.
