GS Power Marine Wire – 50ft, 12 AWG, Red and Black Sheathed, Tinned Copper Duplex Boat Wire

I used this for boat lighting and bilge pumps. It is true marine grade (copper strands that are tin coated.) The insulation on the 2 individual wires inside the sheathing is thick but supple. The sheathing is tough. I routed this wire through 16 feet of aluminum gunnel with confidence and have had no issues. I am happy with this purchase.

Exactly as expected and fast shipping

This cable has the exact same specs. as solar panel wire used to hookup the secondary side of Enphase inverters. It has an additional marine rating and comes in a white sheath rather than black{still has a sunlight resistant rating).

Im not an expert on wiring so take this for what its worth. I needed to rewire my boat trailer so I wanted something that wasnt going to corrode in the elements. I looked around quite a bit and this was by far the cheapest option with decent reviews. The wire itself is some of the thickest 16 gauge wire Ive seen...I would say its closer to 14 gauge so that was a pleasant surprise as I debated using 16 vs 14 for this project. The wire was pretty easy to work with but I wasnt bending it more than a couple degree here and there so it might be a bit harder for tight corners. Overall Im really happy with it and it ended up working well for the boat trailer application.

Bought this wire for a boat I was rebuilding and it was easy to run to all the lights and way bigger wire than what I needed for leds. But for the price it was a no brainer for me.. I will buy and use this wire again for the next boat that I build.. And to be double shielded where I didn’t have to run everything in conduit made the job much easier..
