> 3 dayIt’s like a new computer for $100 dollars. Video shares memory on a laptop. The video is now smooth, it boots faster, and exhibits no latency. Great value.

> 3 dayGot my product quick in the mail and was easy to load into my laptop and has worked fine for the past days. However this morning my computer started crashing and narrowed down issue to a faulty ram stick. The 2nd stick is still functioning after i pulled it as of this review. I have a replacement coming in later today so I will update this review later.

> 3 dayGreat to have, I also own G skill 2400mhz for the desktop, but noticed I was getting worse performance than Micron 16gb (8x2) in some applications in my Acer Slim 5. However, I dont use those programs much at all and have found that typically it provides greater speed than 16gb of memory, so I am still pleased at the value. I added graphene heatsinks to it and maybe that contributed to performance loss but I doubt it. The startup seems to take longer than usual, and it would appear Im not the only one noticing this. The difference is, however, only a second or two, so Im not bothered. I would purchase this again.

> 3 dayIve been through my fair share of G-skill memory and I still think they make some of the best on the market. This kit was unbeatable for the price and in a typical laptop build it would be easy to install. I have an MSI GE73VR Raider-066 and taking the entire bottom cover off without damaging the plastic is a PITA but doable with the right tools and some patience. As for the memory itself it takes about 30 seconds to swap and or install, so far the laptop motherboard is running the SPD settings with the advertised timings and clock speed and I have had zero issues. The primary reason I bought this kit was to run dual-channel and effectively double my memory bandwidth as the laptop only came with 1x16GB SODIMM module. I could have bought another 16GB but for stability and compatibility reasons I would rather the modules be the of the same make with the same number of ranks.
