Gutermann Sew-All Thread 1094 Yards-Black (24357)

I’ve been sewing for decades and I still haven’t found better than Gutermann threads for machine sewing. Are they a mite bit pricey? Yes. Does that priciness translate into less headache, fewer snags, cleaner lines, and overall stronger stitches? Absolutely. If you want to get anything done and you also want it to look good, grab Gutermann thread. You won’t be disappointed.

The Guterman polyester thread is one of the greatest values when you buy this size, its 1500m of thread for a very reasonable price. I have had fewer instances of needle thread breakage as well as bobbin thread binding. This is one of the most reliable sewing threads and I use it almost exclusively for all of my sewing.

I don’t know why but this thread keeps breaking in my machine. I thought it was me since I’m still very much a beginner but I haven’t had this issue with other threads, even the same brand purchased elsewhere (yes I tried adjusting the tension and needles etc)

Beat thread Ive found. However, Gutermann Mara 100 (commercial version of sew all) can be purchased in this same size (big) in 400 colors online at ~$3. Wawak can translate the retail color number to the mara number too. So I tend to purchase that now.

This is a must for making wigs! This thread is very strong and a lot on the spool.

Just what I was looking for. As others have said this thread is solid white and not like the picture that shows some purple variation. This is my favorite thread!

Perfect for what I needed

My sewing machine only works well with Guttermann thread. This spool was not the usual quality and kept splitting which was difficult when threading my needle.
