> 3 dayMy daughter is 9 days old and loves her halo swaddles . This one is nice and warm . I place her in a lightweight onesie and put this swaddle on her . We keep our house cool and this is great for her. This particular one is a bit small in the neck area . so I don’t think she will be able to wear for very long , it also has a weird zipper . The halo micro fleece one she has seems to be bigger so I’m going to buy more of those , however I recommend to purchase this one too because baby loves it while she is still small enough to wear !

> 3 dayI bought this as a replacement for a smaller size I had from a second-hand store. This wrap is awesome! My son just turned 3 mos, weighs about 15 lbs, and is about 23 inches. He is in size 3-6 mos clothes, and still sleeps so much better when swaddled. The sizing is perfect for an older infant, not too tight, and has room to stretch and kick his legs inside the sack with 2-3 inches to grow. I love that there are multiple ways to wear this with his arms pinned to his sides, or with hands up near his face since he has started to self-soothe by sucking on his hands, or with arms out with the wrap around his middle for those chilly mornings. The upside-down zipper makes for easy nighttime diaper changes so I dont have to take him completely out of the wrap to have access. However, I always have trouble lining up the zipper correctly when initially placing him in the wrap, especially in a room lit only by night light and he is squirming, kicking, and fussing. There has also been a few incidents where the zipper became partially separated while he was wearing it overnight, and I had a bit of trouble getting it to unzip to take him out of the wrap in the morning. He usually just wears a cotton snap-up sleeper underneath and it keeps him the perfect temperature, since I turn down the heat to 67 degrees at night and always worry about keeping him warm enough, but I dont worry with this! He does get a little too warm before bed sometimes if hes fussy, as crying makes him sweaty anyway, but that tends to happen regardless so I usually just turn the ceiling fan on until he cools down a bit. And since I dont have to add a blanket on top at night to keep him warm, I dont worry so much about suffocation from accidentally getting a blanket over his face. The arm wrap secures with two long strips of strong Velcro that, even with his growing strength, he still hasnt managed to break out of. I plan to use this wrap over the winter instead of blankets at night, and like that it can transition with him when he no longer needs swaddled. A word of advice: When washing these, I place it inside a garment bag first (unless you intend to wash it separately) because that super-strong Velcro sticks to other clothing items and can snag or damage them in the wash. A garment bag will protect those cute little baby clothes!

> 3 dayBack in 2012 I had my first daughter and I had quite a few HALO SleepSacks for her, but she hated being swaddled! Our son was born in 2015 and we had one swaddle for him, but he was indifferent toward it. He didnt seem to hate being swaddled, but he also didnt need it to sleep well. We welcomed our 2nd daughter this June and she absolutely loves being swaddled, but since our other 2 children didnt use their swaddles I hadnt purchased any for this little one because I thought it would be a waste of money! The nurses blanket-swaddled her while we were in the hospital, but upon arriving home I was too paranoid to blanket-swaddle her for bedtime because I was paranoid that it would somehow come undone and pose a suffocation risk. I put her down for sleep unswaddled and she was terribly restless and kept waking herself with her startle reflex. Desperate for some sleep and wanting her to be well-rested, too, I ordered a HALO SleepSack in the newborn size through Amazon and chose same-day shipping. We both slept wonderfully that night and have done so since. She is now 13 weeks-old and we still swaddle, but we do so with one arm out and we will soon be transitioning to swaddling with both arms out, in case she attempts to roll in her sleep (we havent had that issue so far). I highly recommend this swaddle. I have checked out other brands in stores and it seems to me that the HALO SleepSack is definitely the best there is.

> 3 dayI don’t know why I waited so long to switch to using this warmer swaddle at night. I didn’t realize how cold my baby had been getting until putting her in this the first time—she slept so much better! I think I was hesitant because of reading that babies can easily get overheated, but let me tell you, I live in Southern California where it is generally very warm the climate is moderate, and my baby has not gotten too warm in this even with pajamas and a short sleeved onesie underneath. During the late fall and winter months, temps at night where I live can drop down to the mid 30s, so it definitely gets chilly! Even with keeping the house at 68 degrees, I found that my baby was getting cold during the night in the cotton sleepsack. If you’re thinking about it at all, just try it!

> 3 dayWe unfortunately swaddled our baby in a soft dotted blanket from the first day of birth (same material as the cream dotted HALO swaddle). He was getting to big and started coming out of the blanket in the middle of the night. I tried THREE DIFFERENT SWADDLES, and he screamed in every single one. I took a chance on this because the material was the same and hoped for the best. A miracle happened! That night he fell asleep as if it was the blanket. What a trick I pulled, but for his safety so it needed to happen. The quality is great, washed and dried with no problem (read the directions). TOG LEVEL>>> this is a thicker one per say, we keep our house on 70. I dress him in a short sleeve onesie and socks and he does great at night. He’s not over hot or sweating when I change him or get him out in the morning.

> 3 dayI bought several different types of swaddles in preparation for our little one and this has by far been our favorite to use. The hospital were delivered at had one and we instantly fell in love. Before even leaving the hospital I had ordered one for us to use at home and then by the end of the first week I bought 3 more! I highly recommend pairing these with the 2 way zipper jammies for easy night time diaper changes.

> 3 dayMy son loves this swaddle, it’s almost time to transition into a sleep sack and it’s perfect for that as well. Buy a bigger size your baby will grow into it. My son is now 3 months and when I bought it he was 2 weeks so I got the 3-6 month or small size. He loves it he sleeps through the night and always smiles when I put it on him. Love this swaddle! As a new mom I recommend this highly if you want to sleep at night lol!

> 3 dayThe sleepsack swaddle has been amazing keeping our little one warmer since his room is on the cooler side compared to the rest of the house. I ordered both the Dino & cream in newborn size. I gave it 4 stars over all because the cream came with the 2 way zipper but the Dino design swaddle did not, and having the 2 way zipper is HUGE. The Dino zipper starts at the top and works it’s way down. This is probably great for diaper changes but I’m not a fan of starting my only zipper at the top, especially with our little one. Overall, love the sleepsack!
