> 3 dayI have been shuttle tatting for awhile now, and decided to learn needle tatting. That was a huge mistake. Needle tatting is for those who dont mind sloppy stitches and huge core areas. The needles are hard to grasp and especially slippery when pulling them through to make your rings/chains. I will stick to my tidy, neat shuttle tatting and chalk this up to lessons learned.

> 3 dayIt was very simple to do. Chedked the insructions and tutorial on line. This is the needle not the shuttle which is more difficult.

> 3 dayI received the needles with an extra needle and two threaders. One threader broke on the 1rst use. Now the needles are good. I didnt realize that the difference between shuttle tatting and needle tatting is that shuttle tatting makes for a thicker ring, since it uses two threads. So I will be using needle tatting on delicate work.
