Love this backpack!! Everything fits and is so easy to use!

Used this specifically for a Spirit airlines flight for a 3 day trip to Florida. Everything fit nicely (I used a couple of packing cubes). I did not open the expander zipper but it fit my huge work laptop (17 inch HP laptop) and enough essentials for my stay. This bookbag was my free personal item. I put my flat clutch purse in the bag so they wouldn’t get me for having two personal items. It fit under the seat but I put it in the overhead storage. Without overpacking it and opening the expander, it fit in their personal item measuring unit at the airport perfectly. LIKE a glove. You’re better off flying delta if you have to check a bag or pay for a carry on with spirit bc those spirit baggage fees are outrageous! Don’t let ‘em get ya!

Since on our last flight we had 2 underseat bags that were a 1/4” too deep, they rejected it and charged us $99 each to carry them on, we got these for our next trip. As long as we don’t use the expandable zipper, it fits Spirit & Frontier’s free personal item sizing. They are very comfortable, lots of padding in the arm straps. Padding to protect a laptop/tablet. Lots of room. Comfortable handles on top & side. Backpack straps easily unclip from bottom and tucks into a pocket at the top. Wet pocket. The main compartment has a X luggage strap to hold in clothes, etc when opened - very nice feature. They really thought about details in designing this bag. It seems to be nice quality. My husband and I both are thrilled with the bags.

Have taken on two trips and it has worked out great.

If you do not use the expansion part, pack your things flat and wide instead of stacking them tall, and use the side straps to synch it all down, it fits the personal item for spirit and frontier. Just took a trip where I used both airlines and it fit, you just cant pack the bag big and full. You have to be strategic because if you pack it full it wont fit the personal item and theyll charge you for a carry on. Also, by the time I came back from using the backpack for one trip for 2 weeks, the mesh part that holds a water bottle on the side of the backpack is falling apart. Great backpack other than that. Also has a wet pocket, and separate area for laptop. Multiple zip pockets on the outside and pockets on the inside as well. Has a small clamp where you can hook it across your chest for more support, which I used often. Good backpack. 4.5/5

The design is great for top opening and not having to dig through to find things. I love all the pockets. The inside pockets dont all zip closed, so if you flip open the top, the stuff will fall out. The straps were pretty comfortable even with a lot of weight in the bag. The chest strap was perfect to balance out the tension on my body. The back pocket was great for keeping my money and documents close to my body and easily accessible to me. This does hold a lot and has so much space for a backpack. I was able to get in a 12 pack of soda, 3 days worth of clothing, and my toiletries. It also fits perfectly under the seat of the plane. My biggest issue was the connection at the bottom is a metal lobster clip which isnt shown in the pictures. The clip came undone a few times. Enough to be annoying, but not annoying enough to return.

Used it this past month and if you do not over stuff it there should be no issues with taking it as personal item. It’s an amazing bag! Very durable and so much storage.

Loved this bag. Took for my two week trip around Italy. The only thing I wish it had was a waist/hip strap. But other then that loved all the pockets and that it fully zips open like a suitcase.
