These bulbs came in a box and did not have any real padding but it wasnt a big deal since they are made of plastic, even the bulb part. None of them were broken and survived transit due to the sturdy box they came in. The light bulbs themselves look decently-built but the real test was going to be after screwing them in. I had two bathrooms both needing replacements. Plugging these in and turning on the lights I was instantly impressed. They shined bright, brighter than the other bulbs but still matching their color tone perfectly (3000K warm white). When comparing them to the other older bulbs I had installed (some LED, some iridescent) these were not only brighter, but held a consistent glow in its bulb. I tried taking a picture to show it. The bulbs in the red square to the left are the new ones, while the bulbs to the right are the old ones. With the old ones I can see the shape of the LED under the bulb itself, while these new ones do not have that issue at all! My old bulbs also had a problem with the cold, starting slightly dimmer when turned on in cold weather before brightening. Again, these new bulbs have no such issue. Overall, I am very happy with these light bulbs. I know they will be saving me on electricity over time and they are a great quality improvement over the existing bulbs I had installed.

Nice lights have a warm glow rather than stark bright shine. Shipped in cardboard box and nestled in egg carton like plastic. Fits standard E26 size sockets.

These have a plastic encasing which makes them safer and they are LEDs which will last a long time and cost mostly nothing to run. Creates a bright white light which is good for puting on makeup.

Beautiful lightbulbs and are sturdier and more energy efficient compared to our last light bulbs. Worth the price

Rugged, nice color, cooler than original bulbs, long lasting LEDs

These bulbs replace incandescent bulbs in my bathroom fixture. They are the same size as the incandescent bulbs. So they fit the fixture perfectly. Unlike the yellowish incandescent bulbs, these emit a bright white light that I really like. My fixture holds 8 bulbs. Thats way too many for our rather small bathroom. We never use them all. Most of the old bulbs didnt work. About three of these are adequate. We dont have a dimmer--but then this bathroom is not for our guests. The bulbs have been on continuously for the last 2 days. No problems. These bulbs work great.

These fit perfectly in my vanity fixture. They seem identical to the led bulbs purchased around 5 years ago, two of eight of which just burned out recently. They will save their price in energy costs over incandescent or even fluorescent bulbs easily.

I was astounded as I saw these lights were just as I had hoped!

We got these because our bathroom fixture needs globe bulbs and stores usually carry only 40 watt equivalent. We prefer daylight LEDs for color precision and at 60 watt equivalent these fit the bill. Likes: - Globe shape that we needed for our fixture. - Brighter, hard to find 60 watt equivalent instead of 40 watt found in more brick and mortar stores. - Daylight color instead of soft-white (yellow). Bummers: - The 6000K is actually a little bluer than the daylights we normally purchase, so not as neutral as we hoped. However, these are still better than the yellowish soft-whites found everywhere. - Although this has a globe shape, the LED behind the diffuser must be pointing straight down (outward from the base) as the light is fairly directional instead of omni-directional like our old store-bought.

I have a strong preference for bright cool daylight LEDs for use throughout most of our home. I like to be able to see & read without straining my eyes unnecessarily. I choose practicality & function over mood lighting without a doubt. These LEDs are so much brighter than the ones they replaced. Plus at 5 watts per bulb, they also use less electricity to illuminate the entire bathroom even when our fixture is much older & not installed in a central location. We’ve only started using these LED bulbs not too long ago so I really can’t determine how long they’re going to last. Especially since most of the LED bulbs we’ve used at home in the most recent years didn’t last anywhere as long as they advertised in their product descriptions. So we shall see & I will provide an update if & when needed.
