Having these bulbs on for an hour an they are still extremely cool to the touch. I was surprised because usually these type of lightbulbs get warm after continuous use. Greater than one weekThis is a great replacement bulb for the vanity light. We had changed from the regular incandescent light which makes it very hot in the summer to fluorescent bulb which improved but still get quite warm in the summer. Winter is good. These bulbs reduces the heat significantly by using less power and actually to be brighter. Possibly due to the florescent bulb getting old and is dimming. Good buy.
