> 3 dayI used these to replace our 8 incandescent daylight bulbs in our main bathroom. These are a much cleaner look and provides better, less harsh, lighting. They are very bright but it is a more natural light. The globes themselves, with the white, provide a cleaner look than the translucent incandescent bulbs we had before.

> 3 dayExcellent quality light bulbs. These are big and very bright. When I ordered them, I was under the impression they were dimmable, but theyre not. I will highly recommend these bulbs for the price and how bright they are.

> 3 dayIm not too fond of dim energy-saving light bulbs because I feel like I live in the dark. These bulbs are super bright and provide excellent visibility throughout my house. I will definitely buy again.

> 3 dayI opted for the daytime version and wow the intense illumination of these bulbs have highlighted every dirt that has gone unnoticed to me in my restroom until now. Having these bulbs on for an hour an they are still extremely cool to the touch. I was surprised because usually these type of lightbulbs get warm after continuous use. I’ve been using them for two weeks so far and they seem to be holding up.

Greater than one weekThe light from these bulbs is whiter than my previous bulbs. I feel more alert in the room where I installed them.

> 3 dayAs evidenced in my photos, these bulbs will not make awful wallpaper look less awful. They WILL help a great deal when it comes time to tear it out! I really needed to replace the incandescent bulbs that came in our bathroom. I prefer more of a daylight look in lighting, which is closer to a bluish white than yellowish. Most would consider 6500k fully daylight, but at 5000k these are closer to daylight than the yellowish warm white. Going above 5000 tends to be considered harsh, so this is a nice comfortable tone without the yellowish cast of the lower kelvin numbers. All bulbs were tested and worked right out of the box. They appear well made. Previously, we had to unscrew some bulbs because they were too bright (and mismatched, at that). These are plenty bright for makeup and hair, but not so bright it feels like an assault when you flip on the switch. I was wondering about the size. They appeared larger than a standard bulb but I couldnt tell for sure. They are a good bit larger than the standard bulb, as one would expect for a vanity bulb, so I included some comparison photos. You might have a problem if you expect to use these in a fixture with a small enclosure. The connection is a standard e26 but the globe bit of the bulb is larger than standard size. Ive had them a couple weeks in our single bathroom, which has had regular use. My fixture takes six bulbs but there are eight in the box - extras are always nice. I will update if we have any problems worth mentioning, but these have so far worked as expected. I would recommend.

Greater than one weekIf you want to really light up your bathroom, these are the bulbs to get. I went from a dim to brilliant bathroom with these. Included is a card with some very helpful information, and the bulbs are carefully packaged and protected. Keep the box for the extras. Its always wise to have extra bulbs on-hand. These are way better than the many kinds Ive used over the past 20 years.

Greater than one weekI replaced the spiral light bulbs (pictures 2 and 4) with these globes (pictures 1 and 3). These look much nicer than the bulbs being replaced and provide more uniform lighting to the room. They look nice enough that they can be used with our without the glass fixtures I show in the pictures. 5000K is perfect for the bathroom, and the 500 lumens light output is just right!

> 3 dayHonestly, bulbs are all basically the same to me: do they work as advertised or not? These do. They are very bright compared to my normal 40W bulbs (so something to beware of if your other bulbs are 40W). Also of note is that these are daylight style, meaning that they are a brighter (or truer) color of bulb than your soft white style bulbs. The benefit of daylight style is that it shows things in their true color instead of being bathed in the yellowish color of older bulbs. It is like having a mini sun in your bathroom/kitchen (or wherever you use globe-style bulbs). The benefit of LED bulbs is their savings in the long run. I have actually done some calculations and it is actually cheaper (in my area at least near Detroit) to throw out my old normal bulbs (that I did purchase at full price) and purchase LED bulbs (at full price) and then use the LED version due to the savings in the energy bill!
