My friend who is a dermatologist told me to leave this on for 5 minutes in the shower a couple of days a week for dry, itchy, flakey Colorado scalp. It worked after one use!!! I’m so happy!

I dont often write reviews but I thought that I might be able to help someone else out by writing one for this product. Last summer, my face starting breaking out in itchy white heads and closed comedones mainly on my forehead and chin. I just kept using benzoyl peroxide on my face, and it seemed to be ok for a while, but the bumps never really went away. The bumps started to become itchier and flakier over time, and when the cold weather rolled around toward the end of October, the redness and bumps had moved to my cheeks and became flaky with dandruff--the kind that you might usually expect to get on your scalp, not your face! My BP wasnt working anymore for my cheeks (only made them worse), and I remember my face being so itchy that it would disrupt my everyday activities and literally be the only thing about which I could think. My skin was also suffering from an extreme excess of oil production, likely as a defense against the increased dryness and scaliness I was experiencing. I couldnt wear makeup without it flaking off, and my skin looked terrible without makeup--a lose/lose situation. My self esteem really took a hit during these months, and I spent a lot of money trying to figure out what would help my itchy, flaky, dehydrated face. The only thing that offered me temporary relief during this time was steroid cream for eczema, but of course steroids could not be a long term solution. Heavy moisturizing also provided some relief. I found out about Happy Cappy on Reddit and decided to order it as a sort of Hail Mary to stop the itchiness. I had self-diagnosed myself with seb derm since I appeared to have all the symptoms--flaky skin, excess oil production, scaly red patches. I added this as a second face wash to my nightly routine (my first face wash is a simple, gentle cleansing wash) and then I moisturize while my face is still wet. In the morning, I simply wet my face and then moisturize. Every other night I used BP cream ONLY on my nose, forehead, chin, and edges of my face after my moisturizer dries--never on the sensitive cheek area. The active ingredient in this product, Zinc pyrithione, is a known fighter against seb derm, though it is somewhat underused and scare in facial products--hence, why I now use this shampoo as face wash. I started doing this back in December, and my face has improved DRASTICALLY. I saw results by January, and I still follow the same routine now. I guess the reason I didnt write a review sooner was because I no longer had to think about my face as a problem and just kind of forgot about how much it bothered me just a few months ago. But my sister recently started complaining about itchy zits, and I suspect that she might have fungal acne. She tried Happy Cappy for the first time tonight, and I am hoping that it helps her. If not, I hope that someone reading this review, if youve experienced something similar to what I have described, can find my praise for and experience with this product helpful!!! Happy Cappy is an excellent, gentle product that worked for my face and for which I am extremely grateful--hope it can help other adults!

I definitely recommend this shampoo/body wash. My nephew had a really bad cradle cap and this did the job 100%! Highly recommend and it works great on sensitive skin.

I found this less drying than H&S and have since made sure to keep it on hand for seasonal changes

My 3 month old had really bad cradle cap with big scales that was very quickly getting worse by the day, I did research to find what to do and found this brand, read all of the reviews and everyone raves about it so I ordered immediately. So happy I did bc it worked amazing, his cradle cap is nearly all clear after only a few washes! highly recommend

My daughter has been using this shampoo for several months. She no longer has flaky dandruff. Only negative thing is that the shampoo doesnt lather well. It does what it is supposed to do so Ill definitely be purchasing again.

Our 2 year old son had awful cradle cap from birth and nothing was getting rid of it! We saw this after yet another search for something and thought wed give it a try. SO glad we did as our sons head is practically CLEAR for the first time in over 2 years! A little goes A LONG way and it smells and lathers great! We use it 2 x weekly and couldnt be happier. HIGHLY recommend!

This stuff is great! It started to clear up my baby’s cradle cap with the first use. Wish I took before and after pics to share. But this stuff works!!

I was skeptical of the glowing reviews, but let me add to the pile. This stuff is rapidly clearing the seborrheic dermatitis on my face. Note, I am a 35 year-old man, not a baby. Nonetheless, its doing the trick. I have very fair combination skin. Basically its dry most places but oily on the sides of my nose, mustache area, and around my eyebrows. Thats where I had the seb derm, and also a bit on my upper cheek, right outside of my nose bridge. I had been using Head and Shoulders Classic Clean for years on my face to some success but had a particularly bad flareup that started at the end of January, and surprisingly wouldnt go away. I was skeptical of how well Happy Cappy would work given that it uses the same active ingredient as Head and Shoulders (pyrithione zinc), less of it (95% as opposed to 1%), and is made for babies. I dont know why its working, but its working. The bad patch of seb derm on my cheek and nose that wouldnt go away for 2 months is almost completely gone now after using the product for 2 weeks. Other comments: this product is far gentler on the skin than Head and Shoulders. H&S would result in a mild stinging sensation and dry my face out, but Happy Cappy doesnt do that. This product doesnt smell too pleasant, but the smell doesnt linger after you are done using it. I have been using it at least once a day, sometimes twice a day on my face and letting the lather sit there for about 3-5 minutes before washing it off. I am still continuing to use H&S for my scalp because H&S is doing a fine job keeping my scalp flake-free and its lather is easier to work into my hair. But as an anti-seb derm face wash, Happy Cappy is the best Ive ever come across and I hope it continues to work. Thanks for this great product.
