I clean houses for a living & stopped using 2 vacuums many years ago (1 for carpets & 1 for floors). I have a decent Shark vacuum that is supposed to work for both, but Ive never been happy with any upright switching to bare floors. I wanted this attachment for that purpose, and it works like a charm. I use it on ceramic tile, laminate, and wood floors. Good suction, gets up kitchen crumbs, human & pet hair. I did need to buy an adapter for my particular vacuum, but this seems to be a standard size & will probably fit many vacuums out there. With the adapter, it fits perfectly on my vacuum. This was so much cheaper than a head I looked at last year. The softer bristles are great for dealing with the ceiling.

The cutout in front allows larger pieces of dirt get sucked up. A straight across brush would push the larger pieces around. This way, everything gets pulled into the vacuum. My cleaning lady wasnt sure when she saw it this morning. I just asked her about it and she said it is perfect. A great find.

This brush is flatter and easily fits under tight spaces to clean more floor, such as under furniture. My faux hickory hardwood vinyl plank floors seem to be polished as I vacuum with this attachment. Thus, I no longer need to use a manual dust mop to polish the floors after vacuuming. With this floor brush attachment, I can go longer between mopping with water since it removes more dust.

My husband managed to break the floor brush attachment that came with my Electrolux whisper quiet canister vacuum. The vacuum has a HEPA filter and super thick bags, so its good for people with allergies. I didnt want to give it up just because the floor attachment was unusable. This replacement brush I found is better than the original attachment that came with the machine. It swivels easier and its got nice horsehair brushes all around the part that goes on the floor. It tends to pick up more dirt and dust than the old brush did. Also, its a lot easier to get into tight spaces and it has a low profile to go under furniture and the bed. Im going to order some new replacement attachments to update my old vacuum (which does not seem to be for sale any longer).

Doesnt fit either of my vacuum cleaners, so useless. All the couplings sold by any of these companies are also useless. They could very easily make ones you could use to fit the attachment and a vacuum you have but they dont. Buyer beware. Made fine but dont fit.

I bought this floor brush to replace my old Electrolux brush . .. at one point I hesitate to purchase. Once I got it, I tried it and BOOM perfect!!! I was very happy, This brush it is soft, sturdy, picks all cats and dogs hair, the bristles are long enough that it can even brush the baseboards so easy. Compare to the original Elextrolux brush that I was going to buy almost $40.00. This brush it is a deal ($7.50) and perfect for all kind of floors, hardwood, laminate, tile, etc. I am just happy .
