First time pour over coffee user here. The sun does exactly what you needed to do. I may consider unbleached filters next time but otherwise a solid starter set.

This is a great v60 set. It comes with filters, the v60 dripper, and the decanter and it all came in one piece. The v60 is a great coffee set up and this set is a good deal compared to buying the pieces individually.

Learning pour overs is a journey. You start out thinking that hard core coffee people are just fanatics and how could these products really make a difference. Well, I’ve learned the various coffee products do make a difference. I started with a Cuisinart grinder and then upgraded to a Fellow grinder (8x the price), and definitely could taste the difference. And in the case of the V60, I started with a Bodum dripper, and I find the V60 much better in taste (near 2x the cost), and I think that has to do with the V60 filter being a cone and funneling the water better through the grinds (and likely other aspects as well). I did notice that the V60 coffee was not as hot, which is because I didn’t preheat the ceramic. BTW, I thought that was another coffee fanatic issue, but yea it’s a thing. The made in Japan quality of this dripper kit is very nice. The glass lid fits the decanter perfect and seems like it will be durable over time. The decanter and lid are esthetically pleasing. The ceramic V60 is also beautiful and well made. It’s great that it came with plenty of filters. Be sure to watch the numerous YouTube videos instructing V60 usage. Making pour over coffee is an art form and fun if you have the interest and the time. Also, you will need a digital scale and pour over kettle to do this in a consistent manner of making coffee.

Im an amateur with the pour over thing, did some research, decided on this kit. First try with making pour over was good, second time the coffee was great! Thank god I dont have to use the Keurig anymore. It makes two large mugs of coffee beautifully, and it makes the house smell great in the morning. Just buy this thing!! You wont regret it

This kit is the cutest thing ever. They thought of everything. It is the most adorable little glass pitcher that your coffee goes into with a tight cap you can put on after you’re done pouring to keep your coffee warm. It also fits on my coffee cup after my coffee is poured. Their system for the cone is absolutely perfect. I have made the best coffee I’ve ever made with this little kit. Follow the instructions for your pour over, spending about 3.5 minutes, and you will have the best cup of coffee you’ve ever tasted. It’s definitely important to start with freshly roasted coffee, ground about medium fine, and use a Pour over kettle. I highly recommend this kit.
