> 3 dayDoesnt come in original packaging - just some wire zip tied in a loop. Without manufacturers packaging, I have no way to know that this is really Harris Safety-Silv. Could be anything! Picture clearly shows it in the manufacturers container.

Greater than one weekNot in original packaging. It could be fake? NOT what is pictured. Buyer Beware! I would not use it for anything critical.

> 3 dayAt first I could not get the tiny jewelry parts hot enough to melt the thick solder without destroying the part. Then I hammered the end of solder flat and it worked fine. Using butane pencil torch.

> 3 dayDoes a great job brazing copper or dissimilar metals. Has a lower melting point that 15% Sil-Fos and flows more like soft solder. My go to for brass to copper brazing jobs. Flux as needed.

> 3 dayHarris is a known brand: dependable quality--no surprises--it is what it says it is. With a little practice almost anyone can learn to silver solder. The secret is metal preparation, the use of the right flux, and rapid rise in temperature to red glowing hot. Propane is hot enough--the technique is to get the proper amount of heat to the metal to be soldered and not to use oxy-acetylene which will likely burn up the flux before soldering temperature is reached. Use white flux for small jobs and black flux for larger jobs which will take longer to heat up.
