It’s long enough, but very thin.

I love this wreath hanger. We have a big tall front door and most hangers are too short. With this adjustable hanger, I can put my wreath in exactly the position I want. And it’s not too thick, so no issue closing the front door.

I first bought an 18 in door hanger which I thought would work just fine for my tall front door but when it arrived it was much to short, then I ordered the adjustable reef hanger and it was the perfect length and when my husband said it was to low for him we were able to pull up the reef so it was out of his face when he closed the door. I love it!

I always used small nails or tacks to to hang wreaths. Watching Martha Stewart this Christmas she used a wreath hanger stating she never put marks in her trim or doors. We have a new house and front door so this worked perfectly! Thanks Amazon and Martha!

This metal wreath hanger looked pretty good color-wise on our wood door! But with the porch light on, the copper metal really shone and stole the show. I ended up dabbing a similar paint color onto the exposed areas to minimize the shiny metal and make the wreath the true star.

I have been looking for a good adjustable wreath hanger, and I am so glad I found this one. It is the perfect length for my 8 foot front door. The protection felt prevents it from scratching the door, and it doesnt move when I open and close the door. The brushed nickel is a nice color; not too dark like some of the other reviews mentioned. I highly recommend this product.
