This wreath holder is padded on the side that touches the door, protecting it from scratches.. But it is heavy, making it sturdy, so movement due to wind is not an issue. The length adjusts up and down for a variety of wreaths. However, a heavier wreath pulls the bottom hook all the way to the bottom position. It is still not too long for most doors and wreaths.

I always used small nails or tacks to to hang wreaths. Watching Martha Stewart this Christmas she used a wreath hanger stating she never put marks in her trim or doors. We have a new house and front door so this worked perfectly! Thanks Amazon and Martha!

The door hanger was just what I ordered. The finish was great and it works just as it was advertised. You can lengthen or shorten it. It doesnt slip.

This door hanger is sturdy and nice looking. I loved that there was felt on the inside of the hanger that protected the door from being scratched.

The color is so pretty! I didn’t feel like the way to keep it in position by bending it was a long term solution but it will do. The bar is also a bit thick so I really have to make sure we close the door so it latches and stays shut.

It holds up to 20 lbs. mine isnt that heavy but I have a wreath with lights and batteries which makes it heavy, -- this hanger was just perfect for it. Had it adjusted, installed and a lighted wreath on it in maybe 30 seconds, and for the four days its been up, no problems even through some heavy winds.
