It works, I dont have to worry about my dsi dying while Im out and then having to bring my bulky type A two pin base charger with me. I can just easily plug it into a laptop, a smaller base, my pc, the usb car charger, etc. So convenient.

I bought this cable after losing my original charger that came with my Nintendo DS. I prefer this over the original now that I have been using it. Just use your normal adapter you charge your phone with or even better, use a power bank and go portable.
