> 24 hourThis is super fast to heat up, so no more waiting for the curler to heat. It’s small, so easy to maneuver. It puts just enough wave in my short-ish hair, which is exactly what I want. I would have given it 5-stars, if it wasn’t for the cord. cord. The cord on this thing is ridiculously long, probably 30 inches too long. As a result, it drops down low enough that it catches on the cabinet door pulls when I’m trying to use it. It’s also very heavy, and with all the extra length, I have to be careful that the curler doesn’t get pulled off the counter. I finally bundled about 28 inches of cord together at the plug end, which still leaves me almost 5 feet of cord to work with. But at least I won’t trip over it.

I used to worry that my straightener might tip over and burn the countertop, and I would stress about checking the straightener even after it was unplugged. Now I just place the mat underneath the straightener and I can get ready for the day knowing my bathroom counter is protected. I’ve also found it nice for travel. I was concerned that the material might have a weird plastic smell, but it doesn’t smell like anything. Couldn’t ask for a better product or price!
