After sadly burning a small place on my marble countertop, I was desperate for something to prevent my curling iron from touching it again! This pouch is excellent. Very nice for traveling- it opens to stick hot tools inside. Protects surfaces from heat.

This is super fast to heat up, so no more waiting for the curler to heat. It’s small, so easy to maneuver. It puts just enough wave in my short-ish hair, which is exactly what I want. I would have given it 5-stars, if it wasn’t for the cord. cord. The cord on this thing is ridiculously long, probably 30 inches too long. As a result, it drops down low enough that it catches on the cabinet door pulls when I’m trying to use it. It’s also very heavy, and with all the extra length, I have to be careful that the curler doesn’t get pulled off the counter. I finally bundled about 28 inches of cord together at the plug end, which still leaves me almost 5 feet of cord to work with. But at least I won’t trip over it.

Great hot mat and great to store and travel with your hot rod styling tool-iron brush
