> 24 hourThis bed works great on my Ender 3 V2 with a couple cavets. 1.) The printed parts have a rougher texture than Im used to. On larger parts, like the cell phone case pictured, the texture is kind of nice, but on smaller parts, like the disk pictured, the rough surface looks out of place. 2.) The magnetic base does not have holes cut for removing the bed leveling screws. Although it is rare, if you ever have to remove these screws, you will either have to cut holes in the magnetic material or remove the magnetic base completely which could be difficult as the adhesive is pretty strong! My suggestion is to punch access holes in the magnetic base before mounting it to the heated bed. Other than those two things, which really arent a big deal, the PEI bed works fantastic. It does require a bit more squish for the first layer, but once you have dialed in your first layer thickness, the prints stick very well when the bed is hot and literally fall off the bed once it cools down! I would recommend it as an upgrade to the stock bed on any printer that does not already have a PEI build surface.

> 24 hourFailed prints because the magnet underneath has poor connection, which causes shifts in the plate, leading to spaghetti-ville. Last night was the straw that broke the camels back. The entire plate, print and all, was pushed off the printer. Getting a magnetic plate was to avoid using clips. Beware.

> 24 hourBeing new to 3D printing, I researched several different printers before deciding on the Ender-3V2 and this base plate add-on was highly recommended. It makes for great adhesion without having to use glue or anything else.

> 24 hourIve never tried a PEI spring steel bed before. I usually use glass. This PEI sheet adheres and was as level as any of the glass beds I have used before but with the very cool added benefit of being able to flex the build plate to make my print just POP off the bed. Very cool, and very fun.

> 24 hourWhen it works its wonderful. When it doesnt... Ive tried countless permutations of bed temps and z offsets but the pei plate is just not working for me. Cant afford the unreliability. Frustrating product that I had such high hopes for.

> 24 hourAs you can see per the pictures the label shows it as 310x310 for CR-10 but looking at picture of it sitting on top of a plate that is actually 310x310 it is clearly around 220x220. The quality seemed great but that means nothing if they cant get me the correct size I ordered. This is third item this week where I received the wrong item. You need to do better.

> 24 hourI was pretty skeptical about this at first, thinking that all the online clamoring were by fanbois who just didnt know how to set up their printer, and using the PEI spring steel plate as a crutch. When the opportunity came along, I decided to do a true comparison. you can see in the photo, I have an ender 3 pro running the stock buildtak surface. I replaced the ender 3 v2s glass plate with the Hictop PEI, and the cr-10s has the stock glass bed. all 3 printers were dialed in, and adhesion is great from all 3 without needing any sort of air (like hairspray or glue). In the adhesion category, I would give the edge to buildtak, but all 3 are about comparable. the thing that really sets the Hictop apart, is the removal of the pieces. Im used to just waiting for the parts to cool, and they automatically pop off the surface once it has cooled (on the glass), but with the springsteel, the wait is over. I can easily lift the edge and remove the print perfectly. personal preference. I actually like the slight grain on the print surface vs. the mirror finish from glass, so this was actually a nice change for me. bottom line, I didnt expect to like it, especially with the cost of entry being a not-inexpensive amount, but if you can get it on sale, or money isnt a factor, then this definitely provides a nice upgrade to the printing experience.
