I chose to mount my switch next to my TV and it works great! I am extremely pleased with this product. I ended up installing a HideIt mount for my PS4 and XBox 1S because they work so great.

The mount feels very solid, there is definitely weight to it. It has the minimalistic look with no ugly branding in front like how I wanted. And the dock fits in just right, there is just enough space to prevent scratching the dock when installing or pulling out the switch.

I bought this because my cats would knock over my switch on accident and I needed to hide the dock from them, Its very sturdy and it serves its purpose without flaw. It also fits perfectly behind the Echogear TV Mount #EGLF1-BK

I love it. I have a little boy. He always plays with the switch if he see it where he can reach. Now we put it up high on the wall so he cannot reach it. We are all happy with it.
