Purchased to upgrade from low end lamp cord to actual copper speaker wire on an inexpensive stereo receiver.

Whats to say? It works, strips well, and makes me feel like it sounds better because it is bereft of oxygen.

IMHO this is the best value for pure copper speaker wire you can find anywhere! I couldnt be happier with the quality and the improvement in sound I obtained after switching my wiring over to this gauge and wire type.

I find that 14-gauge speaker wire works perfectly for my stereo system. My speaker wire runs are only 15ft. and I found that 12-gauge wire could actually be a problem with making bare wire connections to the speaker posts and the posts on the back of the amp...just too thick. This wire was easy to strip and separate, and Im quite sure that, as far as sound quality, Id never be able to discern a difference between this wire and others that may cost much, much more. 14 gauge at 15ft. is all Ill ever need and certainly exceeds the capacity of the human ear to hear any difference.
