> 3 dayI havent bought speaker wire in a long time, and generally I bought Monster XP back in the day. After some research it seems that copper coated aluminum (CCA) has become sort of a standard now that the price of copper has risen significantly. I dont believe that CCA would be detrimental to any audio properties, but smarter people than me have advised stepping up a gauge to keep capacitance apples to apples. I decided to get something high quality but basic in pure copper and this met those requirements. The only complaint I have is that the jacket isnt as soft or pliable as Id like but overall very good wire.

> 3 dayIm not an expert but I have a very good ear. It has made cheap speakers sound SO much better. I cant wait until I hook up my old Kenwood 4-way speakers. I love the red stripe and the firmness of the wire. So far I have run it in my garage and my fasteners did not crush the wire. The thickness allowed me to secure it safely. I believe this will be durable for years to come. Exactly what I was looking for.

> 3 dayI use this to wire up my speakers to my receiver. Works great and super easy to use. The best thing about it is that the positive and negative cables are labeled so you won’t mix them up.

04-06-2025AMZNs pushing me to review this product, so okay heres my 2 bit take. I bought this wire for 2 reasons; to fix an intermittent speaker problem- the sound abruptly disappears until I put ALL the power to that one speaker and then yank up the power and bingo, it POPS back on. This new wire didnt help the problem at all... I didnt really think it would, but I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised. I wasnt. Its probably an intermittent short somewhere in this Klipsch speaker. Anyway, I was also thinking of buying some new speakers, but then covid. So this wire now sits in my toolbox, gathering dust. So thats my review; are you happy, AMZN?
