Honda 17211-ZL8-023 Lawn & Garden Equipment Engine Air Filter Genuine Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Part

I received a Honda OEM filter. Bought this to replace the filter in a Craftsman M250 with a Honda GCV 160 motor. Fit great. It was different than what came out of my mower but it fit just fine. Its actual better built than the factory part. This had a nice rubber (or soft plastic) gasket with a metal mesh screen where the factory part was an orange foam gasket with no screen.

This is a genuine Honda OEM air filter. Exactly the same as the one that came with the engine (in my case on my mower) from the factory. Except that this one is clean and fresh, unlike the old dirty one I took off! This is a high-quality paper (or maybe cellulose?) filter, unlike some aftermarket foam ones. Its the only one that Id use on my Honda mower. And at this price, why even hesitate and think about it?

Even though the product markings matched my mower, this filter does not fit. Have to force it into the housing. Learned my lesson. Buy Honda filters from Home Depot. Costs more, but at least you get the right filter.

This item replaced my other filter, fits fine, works fine. Not much else to say about a paper air filter.
