This is a genuine Honda OEM air filter. Exactly the same as the one that came with the engine (in my case on my mower) from the factory. Except that this one is clean and fresh, unlike the old dirty one I took off! This is a high-quality paper (or maybe cellulose?) filter, unlike some aftermarket foam ones. Its the only one that Id use on my Honda mower. And at this price, why even hesitate and think about it?

This was a perfect fit for my Honda HRX217 mower (originally purchased from Home Depot). I usually replace them once a season. You can also clean them out mid-season using an air compressor. The mower runs a lot more smoothly when you go from dirty filter to clean filter.
