> 3 dayI bought this for a photoshoot and for what it’s worth it was a good prop. It held up a lot longer than I thought it would to pyrotechnics so that’s a plus. It’s a lot smaller than what the pictures make you believe. It did feel somewhat flimsy as well and the closing mechanism was kinda wack.

10-06-2025I don’t know why but my umbrella doesn’t seem to look like it’s open to the fullest it goes it looks like 97/100 opened like if I pulled it up a bit it looks perfect but since the umbrella point isn’t there it goes back down a little it’s perfect but that was an issue for me but it works for sun protection :)! UPDATE : I found out there was a upper metal piece to keep the umbrella 100% up and it works perfectly for rain. A very beautiful umbrella :) !!!

> 3 dayI use this product to protect myself from sunburns since I burn easily. I love how easy it is to carry around in its own bag. It is well worth the price

> 3 dayI do not like the sun and this is way better than an umbrella for blocking the sun. Mine came with a little storage pouch with a lace handle too. It is kind of hard to stuff the parasol back into the pouch but whatever. I love this parasol and use it whenever I can. The picture shows how much sunlight shines through: not much!

> 3 dayI wanted to love this. I tried! I really wanted a UV parasol to protect my fair skin from the searing heat of our Texas summers, but that still had the flexibility for when storms hit with sudden downpours. I usually just walk through the rain, but the evil day-star and I are not friends. The material is less the lightweight, water-proof standard umbrella fabric and more vinylized. There is a sorta cute pattern screened into the inside of the umbrella, so when it is fully opened, or even closed, you see a faux-fabric/trim design. I may have tolerated these aspects, but the handle was awkward to hold (not even in adverse conditions) onto, and the bulkiness of the double-folding design doesnt close/fold neatly. I had to manipulate the material to get the velcro closure lined up. Then I had to cup the spines in my hand to line up with the handle/cup to securely close it. I felt like it didnt wrap neatly closed, it tended to be lopsided and off-center. Maybe this would get better with practice. It has a little carrying bag with handles to transport it or store it between uses.

> 3 dayBeautiful parasol/umbrella with plenty of ruffles on the outside to make you feel like you are in a French painting! Black on the inside. 100% sun protection in style!

> 3 dayI liked the way it looked. and the fabric seemed capable of blocking sunlight effectively BUT it worked for only one day. The second time I tried to use it the mechanism that locked it open would no longer hold. Maybe I got a lemon, but it could be a uniform design flaw. I initially gave the umbrella two stars for the flaw. The company immediately contacted me and very kindly offered to send me a replacement. Am looking forward to using it!

Greater than one weekThis is cheap. It is not user friendly and if you want a parasol do not buy. If you want a lace trimmed umbrella is is okay. I can get one this quality at the dollar store and glue on lace. I do not understand the good ratings. this is a wish type deal. Yeah you wish you had gotten the good quality one described. I rarely give a bad review. But this deserves worse. So sad...

> 3 dayi have been using this umbrella for a week and It is great! We have had 90° to 100° this week and a significant less amount of heat was felt under this very pretty and functional umbrella. I am have become more sensitive to the sun and this has proved to be exactly what I need. It is easy to open and close and fits into my purse. I am happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it. Love the little lacy case, too.
