> 3 dayI love that it comes with the carpet glide attachment because my baby has severe dust mite allergy and we wanted to kill them in the carpet this way. I don’t love how I had problems getting the steam to come out on three occasions, all on the first day. Honestly it makes me not want to bother if I can’t be sure it’s going to work when I need it. The first time I set it up was for floor use, and it sounded like the pump was working but no steam. I read the troubleshooting in the manual, and re-seated the main tank. Eventually it produced steam, even though it was green light the whole time. The second time I had an issue was when the main tank got as low as in the picture. That pump sound re-appeared and didn’t go away. So I tried using the lift away canister and that worked. I refilled it and went to town, until the water level got to that point again, and it stopped working. I couldn’t get it to work on the floor mop again. Note: watch when using the hose. When you let your finger off the trigger, hang onto that hose till it’s done releasing steam or it’ll come back around and scald you! When it works, it cleans nicely. Haven’t tried it on clothing yet, or the carpet since I can’t get past the steam unreliability issue.

> 3 dayIll start by saying that this is the first steam cleaner I purchase. One of my pets has environmental allergies, including dust mites, and his Dermatology specialist recommended we steam clean the floor and furniture to help him while the allergy shots kick in as he had a bad reaction to the medications. Anyway. -Pros: This is an easy to use product. I was able to assemble and have it ready to go in five minutes; the pads are nice and thick and glide easily both on carpet (with the glider) and hard floors; the unit itself is lightweight and looks well built. We tested it on tile and sealed hardwoods. Great! -Problem: it does not really get hot. Or maybe I have a defective unit. Either way Im packing it up and sending it back, which sucks because I really wanted to love it otherwise. Does it steam? Yes it does, at least I can see a little water vapor... But I also can touch the surface I just cleaned and the center of the pad with my bare fingers. The floor isnt even warm and Ive had toast that is hotter than the cleaning mop pad. Needless to say I dont see how were supposed to be disinfecting with this steamer when the steam is barely luke warm at max steam. Because of that, dirt also really doesnt come up. I went over the floor after with my Bona mop and the pad for the Bona was disgusting and 4X dirtier. I would assume if Im cleaning, then the second pass would be LESS dirt, not more. So Im sorry Hoover but this was most definitely not a hit. Im off to try a Bissell instead.

> 3 dayLove the handheld capabilities with the many attachment tools. It’s lightweight & easy to lift, if you remove it from the frame as shown in the instruction manual.

> 3 dayWith the mop head on, when I squeeze the trigger (the only way to get steam), the steam comes out on top of the microfiber pad. It does not go through the pad to the floor. Consequently, my floor is not “steam” cleaned. At most, it’s damp mopped. I would call this a failure.
