> 3 daySteamer was hard to push and you have to constantly hold the trigger button for it to let out steam. This was ok when using it as a hand held steamer, but when using it as a steam mop it was to cumbersome to have to hold the trigger button constantly. I have an Easy Home steam mop from Aldi ( about 6 years old now) very lightweight, stays on without having to use a trigger button & easy to push. The Hoover did have some other nice features and thats why I bought it. Unfortunately I had to return the Hoover Complete Pet Steam Mop with Removable Handheld Steamer, Cleaner for Tile and Hardwood Floors, WH21000, White 11 IN x 8.75 IN x 25 IN. It may be a great steamer for a physically stronger person, but not for me.

> 3 dayI was sadly dissappointed with this steam mop. To be fair I have never been a fan of Hoover vaccums either but since Hoover claims to make their products in America with globally sourced parts I thought I would give them a try and help our economy by purchasing something that is at least supporting some manufacturing jobs here in the USA. When the box arrived it was clearly printed on the box Made in China I was not happy at all about the false claims Hoover is making regarding their products and if I knew it was coming from China I would have picked a different brand from China. I even posted on their twitter account and they still tried to say they make their products in the USA with globally sourced parts. If that was true the box would not say made in China That said I decided to give it a try. It works, and the floor steam mop works well. The hand held steaming is not very powerful and the plastic parts are very cheaply made. The hose for the hand held steaming feature is way to short so it doesnt work for reaching many places that I had planned to use it for. Even though it has two canisters for water they are both very small and always need to be refilled again before the floors are done. I am planning on keeping it until it breaks because it does work for the floors however next time I will be getting something different and not made by Hoover.

Greater than one weekIll start by saying that this is the first steam cleaner I purchase. One of my pets has environmental allergies, including dust mites, and his Dermatology specialist recommended we steam clean the floor and furniture to help him while the allergy shots kick in as he had a bad reaction to the medications. Anyway. -Pros: This is an easy to use product. I was able to assemble and have it ready to go in five minutes; the pads are nice and thick and glide easily both on carpet (with the glider) and hard floors; the unit itself is lightweight and looks well built. We tested it on tile and sealed hardwoods. Great! -Problem: it does not really get hot. Or maybe I have a defective unit. Either way Im packing it up and sending it back, which sucks because I really wanted to love it otherwise. Does it steam? Yes it does, at least I can see a little water vapor... But I also can touch the surface I just cleaned and the center of the pad with my bare fingers. The floor isnt even warm and Ive had toast that is hotter than the cleaning mop pad. Needless to say I dont see how were supposed to be disinfecting with this steamer when the steam is barely luke warm at max steam. Because of that, dirt also really doesnt come up. I went over the floor after with my Bona mop and the pad for the Bona was disgusting and 4X dirtier. I would assume if Im cleaning, then the second pass would be LESS dirt, not more. So Im sorry Hoover but this was most definitely not a hit. Im off to try a Bissell instead.

Greater than one weekIt’s ok, but when lifting up the bottom wants to fall off. Not overly thrilled.

> 3 dayI’ve had this for a bit now and I really do like it. My biggest complaint, the water reservoir on the front of the unit does does click in and therefore, when u stand it upright, or take the small portion of the steamer out of the housing, the water reservoir falls out every.single.time. It’s annoying. I should’ve sent it back for a replacement but I failed to do so before the appropriate timing Amazon gives u.

> 3 dayWith the mop head on, when I squeeze the trigger (the only way to get steam), the steam comes out on top of the microfiber pad. It does not go through the pad to the floor. Consequently, my floor is not “steam” cleaned. At most, it’s damp mopped. I would call this a failure.

> 3 dayAmazing product Very easy to manuver.. Excellent for deep cleaning. The only thing I am not a big fan of is the small water tank, but other than that I am very pleased!

Greater than one weekI’ve had this for 8 months and used less than 10 times. It worked great until it blew up and the nozzle broke. I contacted Hoover for a replacement but this is not an authorized retail seller so the warranty was voided. Had I known, I would’ve just bought it at a store and not from Amazon. So sad.

Greater than one weekSo far so good! Downfall, you have to hold onto the steam button in order for it to steam. Other than that, the product works well and it was pretty gross yet cool to see the crud come up from my tiles!!! Its like I have whole new kitchen floor!!!
