Thought we would have trouble finding a bag for the vacuum. This item, worked perfectly.

There was a review titled Didnt Fit which stated: Be warned! If you are looking for the Type Y & Z bag for a Hoover Wind Tunnel vac, dont assume a Type Z bag will fit....it wont! I dont doubt the reviewer got a product which doesnt fit. Maybe hoover does weird things. I double checked, and the previous bags I used were Type Y & Z - the last one is still in the vacuum. I replaced that one with this Type Z - fit just fine. So, Im not sure what happened with the poor fellow which got ones which didnt fit, but worked just fine for me. Its the genuine hoover product, not the knockoffs sold on here as well. I figured - why bother saving fifty cents a bag or whatever, when these bags last months. Not worth the hassle of having something not fit or work properly.

Although it is an unusual amount of dust I am using this OEM Hoover Type Z bag to sweep up, I am surprised at how quickly these stop being effective to vacuum, far less than half full. More importantly, there is quite a bit of dust on the outside of the bag and in the plastic canister that holds it, which means it is going back out into the air. We are sneezing more using these bags. I am switching back to the OEM Hoover Type Z bags that are “green” in color. They filled up almost completely and did not have all this dust coming out of it. I’m really surprised at any high ratings this one has received. I do NOT recommend it.
