I found this butch block island on Facebook Market and purchased it - built around 1977-1978 it was in great shape but dull- after studying videos on YouTube I decided on Howard Butcher Block Conditioner and Oil to see if would bring out the natural wood - omg it looks like new! I love it and it is so easy to use! Highly recommend!!

Purchased to condition new cutting/carving board along with wooden utensils. Applied 4 coats of oil per instructions. Was only ably to use the conditioning coating 2 times as my wood was fully hydrated and would not absorb any more. It is water repellent and fully conditioned. Also used for a set of wooden salad bowls and new wooden utensils I use for cooking. I am very satisfied with the product and recommend the seller without reservation.

Followed the directions on the bottles. Oil first. Let it dry. Wax it. Let it dry. Turned a scrap piece of wood into a presentable charcuterie board for Christmas. Highly recommend.

I had forgotten how important it is to moisturize and condition a wooden cutting block. This product saved the day! It was easy to wipe on and condition my cutting board to restore it.

I had been looking for cutting board oil for a while before finally resorting to buying online. Im glad I searched the reviews and found this product. I had several natural wood unfinished cutting boards that were beginning to warp slightly and splinter in the heavy used areas. After doing the two coats with the oil (which soaked in very fast the first time) and following with the wax, they look and feel like new though with richer colours in the wood grain. They are much easier to clean after use, and no splintering since! Would definitely recommend this product.

This product is Outstanding! I initially purchased the oil. Our daughter bought us this walnut chopping block 4-5 years ago. It was very dry and soaked up a lot of oil. I then ordered the combo pack of oil & wax. I treated the chopping block with wax this morning and let it sit in the sun off approximately 30 minuets, flipped -treated- repeat. The wax was easily absorbed by the warm wood. I applied wax only to the carved wooden basket and set it in the sun for 30 minuets; very pleased with the results. I highly recommend both products!

A must have. Worked great for all our wooden spoons, butcher blocks and cutting boards. We will buy again.
