HP ink seems to last longer for me. Perfect for my home office and the price is great!

Well, its HP ink so not much to say. While the ink is good, the prices frankly are ridiculous. Fortunately there is a way to go-around their printers demand for their brand if you google and hunt. Will have daughter do this (a little time consuming) soon so wont need their price-gouging ink.

I work a lot, run two businesses & dont always have time to run for supplies. I appreciate having the ability of order these from Amazon & have them here when I get home.

Ive owned an HP Officjet Pro 8100 for several years, and it has always been a good, solid, reliable and economical printer. These XL cartridges last a long time and Ive had very few issues. However, this latest time I purchased these cartridges, they are no longer recognized by the printer (an Incompatible message shows in the software), so they dont work. Simple as that. Very frustrating, actually. Ive purchased two different sets from two different vendors - one made in China, one made in Ireland. Neither worked so I returned them both. Unfortunately this means Ill have to get rid of what, up until a couple of weeks ago, was a great printer.
