I bought this to have in my motor home. It is basically the size of the old VHS players. It also loads paper through the front and you would only need to remove it from a cabinet if you wanted to copy/scan a document. As it is wireless, you can print from you laptop or even from you portable device (iPhone, iPod, etc) using AirPrint or HP ePrint. You can also view and print pictures from you camera card with it. Super product with tons of apps.

AMAZON IS THE BEST BUY! The store named Best Buy claims to have a 30 return policy. I bought an HP printer from the so-called Best Buy store and I soon ran out of ink. I also had a terrible time with the HP printer. The HP printer had very little ink, it took forever too get the printer to start, it made a lot of noise when compared to other Brand named printers, it took a long time to print let alone shut down and it printed a test page that used up a great amount of INK without me directing it to. The HP printer also has very little INK that comes with the HP printer and when I purchased extra regular INK cartridges I ran out very soon. I found this out with HP printers; very little INK. If you buy a regular HP ink cartridge you are buying what I call a sample HP INK cartridge since it runs out of ink quickly. If you think about it the HP cartridges that show 2.5 times more INK are the same size as the regular cartridges. You then have to ask, how much ink do they really put in the regular OVER priced HP INK cartridges? I considered myself cheated when I bought the regular sized cartridge. My personal opinion is that the HP 2.5 times more INK cartridges run out after printing only about 50% more than the regular overpriced HP INK cartridges while you end up paying a lot more. The only good thing about my experience with the Best Buy store is that I was able to try out the HP INK supply and the printers performance! I could suggest doing the same but I wont. I will state that I wasnt shy returning the HP printer to the Best Buy store because I was not afraid of this chain store and I was not satisfied with the performance of the HP Printer. Best Buy says you have 30 days to return the HP Printer you should have 30 days but this is a misnomer! I tried the HP printer I bought from the Best Buy store and I didnt like its performance. The Best Buy store states that you can return it within 30 days for a full refund if you dont like its performance. I took the Best Buy store for their word and I returned the HP printer to the Best Buy store after 25 days of use. The Best Buy store would not take the return without me signing a statement stating that I would not return anything I buy until after a 90-day period from the time I returned the HP Printer. I should have told them to F off and accept my return without signing their statement. The Best Buy store also wants a photo ID from everyone when they return something. If the item is being charged back to your credit card then you should not have too give them any ID! This amounts too invasion of privacy (Big Brother). AMAZON IS THE BEST BUY! AMAZON DOES NOT ASK FOR A PHOTO ID! My opinion is that the Best Buy store is not the BEST BUY! I believe Amazon is the BEST BUY! MY OPINION IS THAT Amazon does have the BEST BUY. Amazon is not like the so-called Best Buy store. It is my opinion that Amazon ALWAYS gives you the BEST BUY. I will stay committed to Amazon and quit buying from the so-called Best Buy store. Amazon has fantastic delivery, great service, in most states no tax, in most cases free shipping, extended warranties are available and Amazon will take care of any problems immediately, unlike the so-called Best Buy store!

Ive never written a review online for anything, but I have to warn other potential consumers about this product. I would give this product minus 5 stars if I could. I purchased this printer 13 months ago at Staples. All I wanted was a wireless printer that I could hook up to my home network, and the sales guy herds me over to this fancy printer that looks like a home entertainment component more than a printer. Then he demos it and my first thought was, that fancy little door that lifts and the little arm that swings out sure do look fragile. So I ask him: Those parts look fragile, have you ever had someone complain about them breaking? Nope he says, I even have one myself and I use it all the time it works like a champ. Guess what? It stopped working ONE MONTH after the warranty expired. I think Ive printed maybe 50 times on this printer (thats maybe once or twice a WEEK) we only need printouts for signing things and the occasional recipe. Today is April 23rd - two weeks ago a Paper Jam - Back error popped up on the pretty little LED screen. No problem, I go through the steps to clear the jam, which was nonexistent, there was no paper jam. I even sat and watched all 15 minutes of this supercilious video: [...] The printer works again, briefly, but becomes more and more hung up each time I try to print. First my laptop, then my husbands laptop, and each time the Paper Jam- Back error comes up, there is NO paper jam anywhere in the printer. Ive taken ALL the paper out of the printer, Ive ensured the carriage moves freely, Ive cleaned the rollers with anti-static wipes, Ive unplugged the printer from the device and from the wall, for the suggested :30 and beyond. Finally, I cant even restart the printer without the paper jam error halting all initialization progress. I think its a firmware issue, an update issue, so I try to download firmware thinking it will help reset, but the Paper Jam - Back error is like a poltergeist. I know that the brains of this machine are scrambled and there must be a backdoor reset, so I call HP. I know the HP customer service representative was doing his job and I apologize for my french but after a ten minute call in which the customer service agent has me repeat all the steps Ive been through from their customer service website, and also after asking this person point blank what the best type of paper to use is, with no response, and then being told Im basically SOL unless I want to purchase an extended warranty, I get pretty frustrated. I realize $65 isnt the end of the world, but I havent even used $10 worth of printer paper in this printer. Ive probably printed more test pages than anything. Now I have a $200 brick on my desk, and Im back to where I was a year ago. I do have another printer. It probably cost me $30 and its as basic as it gets. Ive had it at least 5 years, and yes, its an HP product. I just thought it would be nice to live in 2013 and have a home wireless network in which I could print from all my devices. What happened HP? Your stock has tanked and you dont know where you are going? I really thought you were going to make some great products. I would not recommend this product.

The design of this printer is beautiful; its the nicest looking printer Ive seen. Unfortunately, for actually printing it is the worst printer we have owned. There are numerous issues with printing from OS X Lion, many of which HP seems to be aware of as they have been commented on in the HP support forums for many months. Example issues: - Printer loses connection with the Mac (this appears to be an issue with both OS X Snow Leopard and with Lion). HPs solution is uninstall the printer and reinstall it, which does resolve the issue UNTIL the next time you go to print, and once again you have to uninstall and reinstall the printer. - Changing simple options on the print dialog (e.g. print in black & white only) results in about 80% of the page printing, and then the printer hangs with an unintelligible alpha-numeric error message that HP support doesnt even seem to be able to figure out - By default the printer ships enabling automatic updates to the printer firmware if the printer is connected to the Internet. A potentially very nice feature, which unfortunately for a fair number of users results in the printer freezing up partially through the update. Only way to get this resolved is to ship the printer back to HP. We were hoping that when the replacement printer arrived, the other issues would have been resolved. Unfortunately, this new printer suffers from the same issues. HP support did recommend that we turn off the automatic printer updates. Oddly, about the only thing that works reliably on this printer is printing from iPad and iPhone! Just today after trying to print the same doc from the Mac to the HP four times with no success, I switched and printed it from the iPad. It worked fine. My advice is avoid HP if you have a Mac.

This was so easy to set up and works wonderfully! Its a little heavier than some AOI Printers and doesnt hold as much paper but it works great wirelessly without all of the cords! Works great printing from iPhone and iPad2.

When we first got this printer, I loved it- it is sleek and shiny, and I loved that it fits right in with our other stereo components. I like the convenience of having our printer in the living room, since I do so much of my computer work on the couch right there, and it is nice to be able to print things from my iPhone as well. Over the past couple weeks my husband and I have had to use the printer for more than just printing a coupon here or a short document there, and we have been fighting with this printer CONSTANTLY. Here are the issues: -it jams CONSTANTLY -it is rather difficult to unjam, because it does not come apart very easily -It chews up the bottom of the pages of paper even when it isnt jamming -it spits the papers out onto the floor, not onto the completed document arm as it is supposed to -it runs rather slow -it doesnt like to operate on any setting other than default. Not even fast draft, black and white -it will jam on every single document set to print double-sided -it randomly stops in the middle of printing to allow ink to dry. Printers have been around for decades and havent needed to do that, so why now? -it occasionally starts printing half-way down the page, so it cuts off the bottom 1/3 to 1/2 of the page of text. Ive had printers in the past that will act up a bit when there starts to be too little paper in the paper tray. Im wondering if the small paper tray (80 sheets max) is why this printer is ALWAYS having issues. I seriously cant even print a 6 page double sided document (3 double sided pages) without it jamming. The concept and the look of this product are great, but quite honestly, the quality and reliability of this printer is horrible!!! If youre looking for a printer that will print just the occasional coupon before you head out the door, this will probably do the job. But if you need a real printer that actually works every time of every day on every document it is supposed to work on, look elsewhere!
