It is slim and small. Perfect to put anywhere, easy to use and install on a hp computer. A value for the money.

Arrived with box unsealed and partially open (not the best impression as a gift). The product will read CDs but not DVDs. My husband has not tried to write a CD, so Im not sure if that works or not. I am wondering if it was returned because it wasnt working as it should and then was sent out again to me.

So far I have transfered over 100 CDs to an MP3 player without any problems. It has worked as promised. There were less expensive brands but since I was going to be using an HP computer also I chose the same brand.

Works great. You have to download an app on your computer to watch DVDs, but you can find plenty of free ones that work great.

Like the compact size. Uses, recording and playing information from and onto disc.

It is so stupid that laptops are not made with cd/dvd drives anymore. Its just a shady tactic to try to make people spend lots of money having to pay for monthly or yearly software subscriptions, (such as MS Office). This portable external cd/dvd drive is an absolutely needed item for your laptop.
