> 3 dayI didnt think these buds would be good for sound, however they surprised me...nice bass...treble or high end could use improvement..I listen to a lot of music while working to drown out noise and they do a good job on drowning outside noise...battery life seems as promised...nice look. Volume could use improvement from when you increase it or decrease..seems to jump way up there to super loud and super low when past 70% Volume..other than that these are excellent headphones

> 3 daySeveral places in the description say noise cancellation, but to be clear there is no ANC. Overall, these do sound pretty good, but I think there are many other options out there that sound as good or better and definitely have more features than these at full price. I like the low profile, and they fit comfortably in my ears (and I have worn them for hours at a time). I have used these for audiobooks, watching videos and music, and I think they sound pretty decent for all of those things. If you can get them greatly discounted, and just want a good pair of knock around earbuds, these work. At the time of my writing this review they are on sale for $26 and are worth considering at that price point, but at the full retail price I think I would pass and look for something better. I waivered between a 3 and a 4 star, but decided on the 4 because honestly they do sound quite decent and for me they are comfortable to wear.

> 3 dayThe 2022 New HTC True Wireless Earbuds 7 Bluetooth 5.3, In-Ear Headphones Noise Cancelling 10mm Driver with Deep Bass for Gaming, Working -40ms Ultra Low Latency/22H Playtime/Game Modes/Built-in Mic-Black; are Bluetooth earbuds marketed as HTC. A quick reading of the back of the box reveals that HTC has licensed their name and logo to Water World International Industrial Limited, the manufacturer of these ear buds. It is an official licensed product and not a knock off, as far as I can tell. I. have been a fan of certain HTC products in the past, which is why I thought Id give these a try. A few things you should know about me. I work in media production, and part of my duties are as an audio engineer. I am also a huge headphone and music snob. So take my comments with the grain of salt, you might not feel as strongly as I do about high fidelity audio. The earbuds arrive in a nicely printed, htc branded box. Inside the box is a thin plastic cradle with the ABS earbud changing case nestled inside. The instructions, charging cord, and smaller ear foams are underneath. My case is white even though my buds are black. The case is charged via USB C and holds 3 charges. There are tiny blue lights on the front to tell you when the case is charging and how much charge is there. Once you take the buds out of the case they turn on, and off when you put them back in. On my phone they needed paired individually but once I turned on dual BT they played music and video together but phone calls were on right only. Something I kinda appreciated. As far as the term noise cancelling on these, it refers to the microphone and not the earbuds themselves. So calls are clear, but there is no active noise cancelling. Frankly, if someone claimed there was ANC at this price point, I would be highly suspicious. So calls sounded good on both ends and the voice was clear. Music on the other hand... (Remember I am a headphone snob, audio engineer and high-fidelity music fan) so... My very first thought when turning them on and all the way up was, thats it?. Less than half of where I would normally enjoy music. Now often I do like it loud, but I also know professionally what a proper volume should be, and for me this was too quiet. I could tell they had enhanced the bass, and relatively everything was clear but, very compressed. I am pretty sensitive to any compressed audio and especially Bluetooth, but I have heard many that sounded more than acceptable for casual listening. I just heard way too many compression artifacts from these for my listening enjoyment. Additionally they just arent loud enough for me. Now lets be realistic for a second, at the time of writing this they are on sale for $31. To get anything approaching the sound quality I would like, would be $200 or more easily. So understand these are not those and I get that. Thing is though not on sale these are closer to $40 and for just a bit more, the $50 to $60 range, Ive heard better sounding and louder earbuds. If your main use is for calls and talk, I think these are pretty good for the money. I did not try the game mode as I use much bigger weird headphones for that. I did not care for them for music, but they are a great price and calls sound good.

Greater than one weekSound Quality (probably the most important): I do like the bass on these earbuds although the very high treble seems to be a little muddy in my opinion. The vocals which are mids are nice and clear. The are no freq specs in the description or with the package but it has to be around 20Hz on the low-end while the high-end would probably be short of 20kHz (20-20K is the typical range of the human audio spectrum). Overall for sound quality, these earbuds are very nice. Battery life for the earbuds seems to be pretty good and the manual says that the case will recharge the earbuds fully three times. This seems reasonable for the small case size. Although I do prefer a digital display on the case that shows how much power is left in the case, due to the small case size that would not be possible and there are three LEDs on the case to indicate the power level of the case. Overall battery life is very good. The USB charging connector is USB type C, which is the same as my Samsung phone charger. Connectivity: Bluetooth works flawlessly. When I leave my phone on the other side of the gym when working out it always stays connected. Phone usage: I did not use these to talk on the phone, so I can not comment on that aspect. Controls: Functionality is controlled by taps (pause, next, previous, answer/end call) which is typical for earbuds of this type. Admittedly, I only use play/pause because I use them at the gym. Although it has a game/music mode it seems that the game mode just enhances the bass, but it is not readily apparent which mode you are in (no indicator that I found). General Overview: I would not hesitate to buy these as the price point is really nice and the sound quality is really pretty good (especially if you like the hear the low end of the audio spectrum). Certainly, a good value for a nice quality earbud. Update (11/09/2022): Not a major issue, but just different: When the earbuds connect to my phone, there is no message that says they are connect (like with all my other devices). It still connected (and reconnects) flawlessly, but it does not announce this via audio.

Uncle Jeff Reviews
> 3 dayBudget earbuds that passed the NY test. NYC is a very loud city so earbuds need to have enough volume, clarity and comfort so you can go about your day with some music, podcasts or short videos to help you go through the daily grind. This passed the test. Im used to budget earbuds since I keep losing, dropping or running through their batteries like underwear so I refuse to pay high end prices for something that might not last me a day. Understand beforehand that this are Budget Earbuds meaning they are cheap in price so will lack one thing or another and are not meant for audiophiles. - The Physical aspect: I hate the little dropping sticks from some models out there and really prefer the ones that just go into your ear socket that look like part of it ( Kinda like the spy models ) so I was out of my comfort zone with this ones. Guess what? I love them. They arent as big as you would think, do not protrude as much and definitely dont weigh down whatsoever. This are so comfortable and lightweight that I forgot I had them on for an extensive period of time. I normally use foam earbud tips since they not only give a better grip but also prevent outside noise from mixing with the sounds, didnt need them with this. They come with medium sized ear tips pre installed but it comes packaged with a small and large pair, I used the large in my case and it doesnt fall off. - The Case: Case is not so big nor heavy, you can almost forget they are in your pocket. Doesnt take too long to charge. Hasnt activated the buds while in pocket and not in use ( magnet that holds buds in place apparently are decently strong ) . Havent had issues taking the buds out, in some cases with budget earbuds is a hassle to get them out of the case, not with this. Charges via a USB C port ( Cable included ). Doesnt support wireless charging. ( Disappointed but to be expected in the price range). Has a rugged feel to it so I would imagine easy to clean and also provides better grip. Has 3 charge level lights which activate when charging, when taking buds out or putting them back in so you know how the charge is. - Pairing: Although the initial setup was kind of tricky since I saw 2 profiles, unpairing and restarting fixed this and now only have 1 profile. Start with right side, left should pair with right once paired to phone. You will hear very subtle beeping sounds while in paring mode, dont expect the Ready to pair girl to let you know and after paired you should hear 2 subtle beeping sounds while trying to connect to your phone. You are able to use both or either one simply by pulling them from case and/or putting them back. Both have independent microphones and also controls are dependent of side. ( See picture ) - Sound: Not the clearest of the bunch but certainly has a nice volume and bass which is the major issue with most budget earbuds. I normally play Spotify, Youtube, Facebook reels and in the rarest of occasions, Netflix. In all this apps the sound that I received through the earbuds was fair, high and adequately bassed to my liking. Someone mentioned that you can use an equalizer app that would remedy the lacking highs and meds, in my case it wasnt that bad. Game Mode is simply an extra bass boost, definitely helpful in some cases in others just too much. ( Dont go thinking is that much of a difference though) Calls was told it was clear, no outside noise since the noise cancelling feature is for the microphones and not the buds themselves - Controls: Basic usage controls by tap, not clicks. ( See picture ) No Volume control. ( Disappointed again but also to be expected in the price range. Should be a thing by now). - Power: So far, I noticed they dont shut off by themselves when out of case, connected to phone without playing anything through them. Cant say its definite they dont but it hasnt happened to me yet. Of course putting them in the case will shut them off. All in all, I recommend them to anyone thats in a budget and not an audiophile.

> 3 dayThis set of wireless headset from HTC is very inexpensive but performs very well. The headset is very easy to pair, just take them out of the case and remove the yellow sticky tab on the charging contact and they should start looking for device to pair. Make sure to remove the yellow tabs and put back into the case upon first use to make sure the buds have a charge. Once paired, the earbud should start working immediately and will automatically connect once you remove them from the case. The build is very good for a sub $40 headset and sound quality is good. What I like: 1. Sleek and good fit 2. Easy to pair 3. Good sound No notable concerns at time of writing.
