Hudson

As someone named Hudson I have a lot riding on this film. Luckily, its incredibly funny and charming and smart and sweet and memorable and just so well done.

If you are looking for a good movie to sit down, relax and laugh, this is it. Its a family oriented movie that is heart warming to everyone. 10/10.

Had me locked in from the beginning. A must-see for all types of movie lovers!

Im not much of an indie film guy but my wife and I both ended up enjoying our watch of Hudson. It was very sweet, and sort of charming. Levins got a great on screen presence - funny, but believable, not goofy at all. The film was long enough to go somewhere and not so long it overstayed its welcome. The scenes with Hudson and the Doctor were also funny and sweet. Definitely see it!

This movie was thought provoking and enjoyable. A story that seems slow and perhaps insignificant on the surface delves deeper into a relationship and life event that shaped the characters lives and world views, just as real life shapes each of us. Deep, but not dark. The fall scenery and settings were fantastic, with beautiful cinematography and perspective that made the movie feel like a Sunday drive in the country. The original music score fit the movie perfectly and aided the viewers journey through the story.

The character of Hudson himself was a hard role to play and was acted absolutely beautifully. The script was crisp and tight and smart and deep. I loved the cinematography and the editing work. His father, the doctor, was surprised as well.

Wonderfully written and great performances! David Neal Levin knocks it out of the park as Hudson!

This movie is a gem! The acting is top notch and the Upstate New York fall scenery is gorgeous! The soundtrack is in perfect sync with the various scenes in the movie. A must see movie!!

Well written and superbly acted. Funny throughout and deeply touching, this movie subtly explores death and family dynamics in an honest and truthful way. A great example of an indie film done right.
