The Big Daddy
> 3 dayA film we can all relate to. Can you go home again? Maybe, maybe not. A well written and superbly acted film, shot in scenic Upstate New York. The cinematography was eye catching. Life is not about what happens to you but how you deal with it. You’ll find yourself connecting to the characters almost immediately. Check out this gem of a movie today.

> 3 dayGreat film about a pair of cousins reconnecting over family matters. As a fan of Hal Hartley films and movies like You Can Count on Me and The Station Agent, this film by Sean Daniel Cunningham had me feeling the same vibes! Immediately you connect with the characters. I love that the story meanders through the day with quirky encounters and happenings, peppered throughout with the clumsiness that both cousins share. David Neal Levin, who plays Hudson, is fantastic and I really hope to see him again...and hopefully in another Cunningham film. I watched the movie twice and its definitely worth the rewatch to pick up on all the little details.

> 3 dayThe character of Hudson himself was a hard role to play and was acted absolutely beautifully. The script was crisp and tight and smart and deep. I loved the cinematography and the editing work. His father, the doctor, was surprised as well.

> 3 dayThis movie was thought provoking and enjoyable. A story that seems slow and perhaps insignificant on the surface delves deeper into a relationship and life event that shaped the characters lives and world views, just as real life shapes each of us. Deep, but not dark. The fall scenery and settings were fantastic, with beautiful cinematography and perspective that made the movie feel like a Sunday drive in the country. The original music score fit the movie perfectly and aided the viewers journey through the story.
