Ours stopped functioning properly in deeper water. Great to have our Humminbird working again.

Love my new 899 humminbird and these transducers were worth the upgrade.

This item is an exact replacement for the original transducer for the 196ci. It does not come with the pivot bracket. Next time i hit a log in the water and break the bracket i will most likely just order the pivot. Excellent service by the way. Thx

The transducer DOES NOT come as pictured. The swing away bracket ( the 2 parts shown with the hole in the center) has to be purchased by itself [Humminbird part 7400931 MGX XNT]. Have it on the boat now but not been in the water as yet.

The transducer hasnt upped my fishing game much but, I cant blame the equipment, it works flawlessly.

I hate this transducer. It is constantly kicking up nearly every time I get on plane. I have a deep transom and its a long reach to push it back down. It is, rather was mounted on the downward prop rotation, lower than any other transducer, over 18 from prob, barely stuck below boat bottom and away from any ridges. I finally made it so it would not kick up but then it just snapped off, twice. First time only the bracket broke and HB support sent me a new one. I sent them transom photos and they placed the blame on my trusty Lowrance transducers mounted about 10 outboard from the HB. they told me to remove them, then Im totally blind.

Fixed my problem. Received in a timely manner.
