Humminbird 710201-1 XHS 9 HDSI 180 T (HD Side Imaging) Transom Mount Transducer

I hate this transducer. It is constantly kicking up nearly every time I get on plane. I have a deep transom and its a long reach to push it back down. It is, rather was mounted on the downward prop rotation, lower than any other transducer, over 18 from prob, barely stuck below boat bottom and away from any ridges. I finally made it so it would not kick up but then it just snapped off, twice. First time only the bracket broke and HB support sent me a new one. I sent them transom photos and they placed the blame on my trusty Lowrance transducers mounted about 10 outboard from the HB. they told me to remove them, then Im totally blind.

Got em on 3 boats….works great with my Helix 7!

Hummingbird has been my all time favorite when it comes to marine electronics. Its advertised as the best on the market and has not disappointed It is user friendly, easy to install and really helps anglers at ll levels to locate and catch more fish. I love it and highly recommend it.

I bought this to replace the standard transducer that came with a Humminbird Helix 5 fish finder. I read that it would significantly improve the performance of my bird. While there was some marginal improvement, it wasnt worth the money. Also, due to the large size, it was very difficult to adjust so that the finder would work at speed. If it was what was needed to do a good job, why didnt Humminbird include it as standard? I think we know why.
