Wow!! How can I be excited about the rat tail comb!! I always by the cheep plastic ones from Sally’s but since I went natural I have seen these types of rat tail combs used. It does not pull my hair. It combs very well & parts with precision. You won’t be disappointed with this rat tail comb.

Im not a professional, but I do cut my own hair and I have specific preferences as to the tools I use. Even if I didnt cut my hair, I like a clean, straight part & when Im drying my hair I want clean separations when section drying. This comb is perfect for my needs. The teeth are just the right strength-- not like some other tail combs with teeth that bend, separate & quickly start to look almost melted. And the tail is also just the right strength, balance & substance. A good comb at a bargain price.

I have thick natural hair thus need my flat iron set to a high temperature (410°F) and with the flat iron I use the plates come close to the edge. This comb preformed perfectly for the chasing method of flat ironing with no signs of burning. The tail of the comb seems sturdy and glides easily through my thick hair and comfortably across my scalp.
