iFixit Essential Electronics Toolkit - PC, Laptop, Phone Repair Kit

Ive done a fair bit of electronics repair and modification over the years and this is probably my second favorite purchase for this purpose. The first is the Victorinox Rally keychain Swiss army knife. Seriously, if you ever find yourself wishing you had a regular to micro Philips screw driver for impromptu repairs, get one.

Great product.

Having older consoles, like the PS Vita, and a young child, makes this kit a necessity. Everything is well made and the tools are top notch.

If you ever tinker with hardware (especially Apple) that, in exchange for clean and elegant packaging, require precision specialty tools , this kit is killer. Has everything you need to crack into mini PCs, laptops, macbooks, etc. Heck, Ive even used the cleverly-stashed SIM ejector once already because I can _never_ find the tiny paperclip ones that ships w/ most phones I dont have the mechanical prowess to use the other mobile phone tools but they definitely seem of sturdy quality to do the job.

I didnt buy the larger tool set and this one has all the tools needed in my RAM addition to my 2018 MAC MINI. All of the screw driver attachments and tweezers proved valuable dealing with mini circuit attachments.

Very good and convenient tool for daily hardware care

I needed the tiny m2x3 torx tip for my Alienware and that tip bent and the screw became stripped. I am not sure how to get the screw out at this point, but this damaged it so badly it might be impossible to get out now. These tiniest tips are basically not hard enough to unscrew anything. I could get the larger screws out to remove the back of the laptop but that was all. Its worthless for the smallest tips.

Life is so much easier when you have the right tools.

It has all you need for repairing some devices, but I would add more variety of the bits.
