iFixit Pro Tech Toolkit - Electronics, Smartphone, Computer & Tablet Repair Kit

I invested in these for a hobbyist builder but they are definitely professional grade tools If you are looking to round out your profesional tool set consider going one kit up to include a magnet pad. The reach drivers are the bomb.

I decided to buy this toolkit after 3 hours of hell trying to disassemble my macbook pro to change a damaged keyboard. I already had a set of precision screwdrivers, and experience in fixing laptops and general electronic equipment, but I was missing a lot of exotic driver bits to work on an Apple computer (and there is only so much you can do with a damaged screw extractor).

I was able to replace the RAM on my HP laptop that I was dreading for a while, open up an old MP3 player and fix an issue with its battery. WOW. What kind of a world is this!? This toolkit literally has everything. Its my go-to now for anything that needs fixing.

All the reviews speak the true-true. Ive used this to replace my friends phone screen, fixed a little thing that my tablet had with its charging, build many computers with it. Everything Ive ever needed in a IT toolkit. I wish it came with a ceramic tweezer though. Burnt through the plastic one that came with it.

Honestly, its too early to rate the tool kit. I only just received it. But, my initial impression is good. Offhand, I would have to say I have all the tools I will probably ever need for %90 of all the modern-day machines I am likely to run across. Not to mention eyeglass screws or any other of the million screws that make up modern life.

Excellent tool kit

I purchased this for my husband and he said it was exactly what he was looking for. It comes in a VERY nice case that is durable and keeps everything organized. The tools are also magnetized. Great kit!

Saw this originally on Linus Tech Tips and had to buy one. Its lived up to my expectations and then some.

A really nice case for fixing laptops,electronics and doing some pc building (the screw driver is not long enough to reach some places in a computer case) but the magnetic tip really helps :) Awesome quality, awesome product and awesome service/warranty.
