ILC LED Light Bulb 85W Equivalent, Color Changing Light Bulbs with Remote Control RGB 6 Modes, Timing, Sync, Dimmable E26 Screw Base (2 Pack)

I previously had Lifx bulbs. Those shorted out well before the end of their 20 year warranty, and the company told me they wouldnt honor the warranty because the bulb in question had been discontinued. As a result, I bought these. They were great for a few months, but after maybe 4 months, the lights started giving off an ozone smell (a sign of an electrical short), and the remotes (both of them) stopped working even with new batteries. That is important to me because I bought these for the sole purpose of being able to turn on and off the lights while still in bed. Since I had two different brands of bulbs short, I did have an electrician look at the fixture. Its definitely not the issue. Looks like Im going back to Lifx.

Horrible flicker. what good are 5000 hours with a flicker. Have to trash these Wasted money on led who broke down in 3 month

Concept is great, colors great, BUT if you switch to the white light, its a nightmare to get the colors to come on again. All the colors switch via the remote with ease. If you switch to the white light, the remote no longer works to make any changes or even off and on. After playing for several minutes alternately turning the power to the lamp off and then on again, suddenly I was able to turn the colored lights back on. I saw nothing in the instructions regarding this issue. Ive seen other reviews mention tightening the bulb in the socket (maybe they really unscrewed it a little which cut the power, sort of like rebooting a computer) and then it worked again. I purchased a different brand where the remote looked very different and had no problems, but the colored lights were rather dim. I wish these would have worked correctly.

These bulbs were nice, but did not last more than 2 days, one of them just stopped working! Have to return both & don’t think will repurchase any.. this is very inconvenient. Have to go all the way to Kohl’s to return to Amazon

I like to control and the fact that it is LCD. I would have liked a red to green transition for Christmas decor, but I suspect that there are technical limitations. It is part of our outdoor decor set to blue-green transitioning.

Hard to believe you can get so many options out of one bulb . Dont know how long it will last but so far Im happy

Long life

I love these lights, I put one on the nightstand so I can dim it and not disturb the wife. So many variables for colors and brightness. It makes for a less boring light
